The Spierig Bros directed UNDEAD. a mostly unknown great little zombie flick. This makes me even more excited to see Daybreakers......

The best description I have for this is a zombie apocolypse except with vampires. And Ethan Hawke trying to channel Han Solo.

It wasn't anything like a zombie apocalypse. The vampires took over, and continued to run the world. If zombies took over, everyone would die and then just awkwardly rot in the sun.

I liked it a lot. It's the first decent vampire movie I've seen since the vampire craze started taking over. I'm kind of happy about all these shitty vampire movies though. Maybe the zombie genre will get a rest. Lord knows it needs one.

FUCK. You might have just given some lonely housewife an idea, Larry! If the dude who's wife wrote Twilight, had done a better job of keeping his woman in line, we wouldn't have this huge mess that we currently have now. Let this be a warning to all you men in the future. They should be cooking dinner and rubbing your dick when you get home. NOT WRITING NOVELS.

The funny thing is...Stephanie Meyer just recently wrote a book called The Host. My fiancee recently read it, and she told me that its something that I would actually be interested in reading. Maybe...just maybe she is using Twilight as a gateway to lure innocent victims into a true taste of horror? Mmmm, interesting marketing strategy.
