I emailed them last night about playability in the U.S. and Silent Night and Virgin Among the Living Dead  are Region 2 PAL. I'm super bummed. I need to get a new TV anyways, do sales people at wal-mart etc know anything about PAL and region 2?

Region Coding can be stripped from a disc and then reburnt to DVDR. but if it's PAL it won't play on most american players. It's actually retarded that they don't because the dvd players are actually 100% capable of playing both video formats, but they specifically limit most players to only play NTSC. you can re-lable ifo files so that when the dvd player reads the disc it think's it's ntsc. But that will only work on some players.. but works for most sonys and shit
