Only two places, at the moment, are carrying it, and they don't have any details on whether it'll be LBX or Full Frame. Not even any artwork, yet, either.

Release Date: 9/21.

Personally, I don't have a problem with DVD-Rs, as long as the picture quality is good and they're letterboxed. The prices, however, are another story altogether.

What the fuck? Why not give it a proper DVD release?

I've stopped trying to figure that out a long time ago. So, far, though, the only rwo DVD-Rs I own are THE WHITE BUFFALO and A RETURN TO SALEM'S LOT. Didn't have a problem with the former, but the latter was defected, and to Warner's credit, when I emailed them about this, they replaced it, for free. The new one worked and still works fine. So, I ain't gonna put up too much of a stink, but would I rather have an official factory pressed, sanctioned DVD of these movies? Fuck, yeah. Is it gonna happen anytime soon? Fuck, no. So, I'll live with this DVD-R situation until I start getting heavily burned by the many future discs I may eventually order.

Then I probably end up making a post in that rant thread you guys got going.
