280 Weeks Later, Stag Night of the Dead Finally Gets UK Release Date

After over five years in the making, underground hit zombie movie Stag Night of the Dead will be released in the UK on DVD and iTunes 9th January. The film is the debut feature of Napoleon Jones and has been attracting the interest of zombie fans all over the world since its online "theatrical" run last year. Dean Boor of Shock Horror Magazine described the film as "f*cking awesome" and Tony Schaab, creator of TheGOREScore.com, called it "a one-of-a-kind zombie viewing experience".

The DVD release includes exclusive behind-the-scenes features and is available now for pre-order on both Amazon (http://amzn.to/snotd-dvd-uk) and Play.com (http://bit.ly/snotd-play-com).

Originally conceived in the summer of 2006, it's been a long journey for Jones and his team but he's been delighted with the response from zombie fans. "It's a quirky B movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously but has a heart which I think most people appreciate. I always wanted to make a zombie film that took a different view on the genre and the feedback we've had has been amazing.”

Set in the aftermath of a zombie outbreak, the film follows a group of likely lads as they head off to a run down military base with a PVC clad stripper for the ultimate stag party experience. Forget paintball, at Zomball you get to shoot zombies with stun guns. It's a game that is literally more than life or death. After breaking the golden rule of Zomball - "never humiliate a zombie" - it becomes a fight for survival as the truth about the new world order is revealed and suddenly the mother-in-law is the least of Dean's problems...

When the last flight out of war-torn Africa crashes off the coast, Lt. Brian Murphy (Rob Freeman) is the sole survivor in a land where the dead are returning to life and attacking the living. On the run in a hostile and inhospitable parched landscape, Murphy has to use his wits and ingenuity if he is to get home alive to his family. When he crosses paths with local solider Daniel Dembele (Prince David Osei), a man frantically searching for his son, they join forces. Two desperate men from two very different cultures fight side-by-side to survive across the incredible vistas of Africa as the world around them succumbs to the deadliest of viruses.

Zombie Apocalypse concerns Ramona (Taryn Manning), Billy (Eddie Steeples) and Kevin (Gerald Webb) who have just come down from a hideaway in the mountains months after a zombie apocalypse. They are immediately beset by a dozen zombies and rescued by Mack, Cassie, Hammer, and Julian who are on their way to Catalina Island, the last refuge of humanity. They take the newcomers under their wing as they hunt for supplies, kill massive amounts of zombies, and try to survive.

Directed by Nick Lyon from a screenplay by Brooks Peck and Craig Engler, Zombie Apocalypse was produced by David Michael Latt, Paul Bales, and David Rimawi.

DVD, Blu-ray and VOD on December 27.

A high powered music agent brings three recently deceased rockers back from the grave to form the first zombie punk band. Eddy, the leading character, is dragged to the concert by his buddy Ciez, but only stays to see his ex-girlfriend, Lisa. The show is cut short when the zombies break free and the gruesome flesh-eating ensues. Soon Eddy must save his friends from certain doom and becoming…Pop Punk Zombies.
