A small update on Fox Home Entertainment's forthcoming Blu-Ray release of the Alien Quadrilogy set featuring all four films in the franchise.

In a recent L.A. Times interview, actress Sigourney Weaver revealed she was sitting down to record brand new commentaries for every entry.

Furthermore, The Digital Bits learned that we can expect to see the new set in mid-to-late 2010 with "TONS of new material [that] has been added as well exclusively for the Blu-ray release."

Just in time for the April 16 release of Piranha 3D, Shout Factory is prepping a Blu-Ray edition of Joe Dante's original Piranha.

Expect to see it street on April 6. The title will arrive under Shout's "Roger Corman's Cult Classics" banner. No special features announced.

• Blue Underground is releasing Lucio Fulci's City of the Living Dead on May 25. The disc will feature a new transfer and contain a new documentary called The Making of City of the Living Dead. Other previously-released special features will be imported.

• Rumors are circulating, thanks to an international Universal Home Entertainment document, that we may see Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park on Blu sometime at the end of 2010.

• Deep Blue Sea will street from Warner Bros. on August 3. Forbidden Planet and Mars Attacks! follow on September 7. There's still word that we'll see Warner release The Exorcist this October.
