Everyones excited about this...but it's just going to be shit. There's no way around it. The great thing about the original two was the cast and the charm they brought to the movie, if they try to imitate it they'll fail and if they go in a different direction they'll just piss people off because it's so unlike the original. I just keep picturing this glossy, pretty CG bullshit when the original wasn't like that at all. The Ghostbusters were like janitors, they smoked and were always covered in slime and dirt and all their equipment looked like it was made from spare parts. I guarantee they're going to lose that whole vibe.

part 2 was gay. even bobbie brown's theme song & making janine like she was in the cartoons didn't save it. it's true. 2 sucked balls.
when i saw the 1st in the theater as a kid, they killed the lights during previews, & had faggot ushers dressed like ghostbusters run in & chase a ghost that flew down to the screen on a cable. u can't do that kinda shit outside the 80s.
remake is faggot faggot faggot.. and faggot. im sure it will make more $ than national treasure 3 tho.

This will be shooting in December (if nothing goes wrong) and Ivan Reitman will not be directing but Murray, Hudson, Ramis, Ackroyd and even Rick Moranis will be returning.

Holy shit, that's awesome if they all return. They might all look old as shit now, but they could incorporate that into the movie.
If they get a new Ghostbuster, I think Danny McBride would work pretty good.

While Bill Murray is still very much alive, his Zombieland cameo is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to him portraying someone deceased. While promoting The Fantastic Mr. Fox, he mentioned he will participate in Ghostbusters III, under certain conditions.
“I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel’. So now they’re going to have me as a ghost in the film.”
While Sigourney Weaver mentioned that might happen while promoting Avatar, Ivan Reitman attempted to debunk it last month while announcing he would return to direct.
It’s highly doubtful that this is any kind of spoiler, as something like the death of Peter Venkman would be nothing short of a major plot point.
