If I recall correctly, Marti Noxon was the cause of some bad moves on the Buffy front. So, we'll have to see.
Do you have any examples of what you mean by "bad moves?"
I recall that she was said to have been responsible for the whole Buffy screwing Spike thing. Basically her writing out of character scenarios because she was infatuated by the aforementioned character. But, that's based on internet chatter, so I don't really know how much truth there is to it.
