Oh suprise suprise.... ANOTHER Horror remake.... Hollywood should go fuck themselves..... Or remake The sound of Music, or Raging Bull, or some other well recognized movie of a different genre And the whole reason why horror remakes exist is because little fucking bitches can't appreciate the originals, and they want bigger tits and brand name stars and explosions and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of explosions and tits, but there's a time and a place. Make something original, and stop skull fucking the classics  |

Hello People,
This is my first post on this board.
I wanted to say that I agree that a remake of F13 is a horrid idea. Though I thought Platinum Dunes did a good job with TCM, from what I've heard about what they're planning on this remake I'm not impressed. In fact I'm very distressed about it.
I mean, they are planning to do a remake without Mrs. Voorhees. They're planning to have Tommy Jarvis in the film. And, just to add more to hate, they are planning to have Jason wearing the hockey mask. They've made it clear they are planning to change the backstory...What is that? You change the backstory of Jason what do you get? The name Friday the 13th, but it might as well be Bloody Murder 3....
Sorry, but as a fan of all 11 films, I say that sucks...

Halloween 1 and 2, TCM 1 & 2, i love and cherish. every other sequel or incarnation of them tho i think is gay and i denounce. Friday the 13th however, to me were good up until Goes to Hell. 5 and 8.. i reluctantly accept but i still do. either way it's a franchise i've followed since part 2 (age7). every year i'd somehow manage to see the R-rated sequels, so like a homo, i tie Jason to my childhood. which is why it sickens my heart to hear "that guy" who directed Darkness Falls and TCM The Begining is behind the wheel of this along with Michael Bay.
sure i'm no doubt talking in circles about this but shit.. fuck it.

part 5 wasn't Jason is why. i remember when that and Nightmare 2 were considered the worst... until more sequels came out that made them look like gems.

I still need to buy yet ANOTHER box set considering a boil on the butt of humanity has mine.
Friday the 13th went to shit after the fourth installment anyway. I expect no better out of a remake.
They should let me write a prequel. I have some brilliant shit to tell!

I don't know why? For some reason it just bores me, I have to agree.... after part 4, meh. But, I do enjoy the ridiculous antics of Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X! They are just brilliantly retarded! Part 8 fuckin' sucks my ass though. And the only reason part 7 is cool is because the Jason make-up effects are great, he looks totally gnarly in this one, his face is all skeletonized and his ribs are showin', fuckin' A.....Oh, and the dude who played Bernie in Weekend at Bernie's was in it hahaha.

Jason X is hilarious and I like Goes to Hell a lot as well, but I think I'm alone in liking it.  It's been so long since I have seen the whole series. We are talking summer of 88 here. Damn that was a while back. MEMORIESSSSSSSS. I guess I am going to have to rent these again. |
