(April 4) - Bob Clark, who directed the holiday classic 'A Christmas Story', the 'Porky's' films, and horror classics, Black Christmas, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, and Death Dream was killed Wednesday in a head-on collision on California's Pacific Coast Highway. He was 65.
Clark's car collided with an SUV around 2:30 AM near the Pacific Palisades. Both cars were badly damaged.
Hector Velazquez-Nava, the driver of the SUV, was later arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter, according to police.
Clark's son, 22-year-old Ariel Hanrath-Clark, was riding with his father and was also killed in the crash.
This is absolutely horrible!!!!
He will be missed.
I can't believe this happened!
