Former WWE superstar, 2009 Diva of the Year, Celebrity Apprentice contestant, Singing sensation, and April 2008 Playboy cover girl MARIA KANELLIS is back for more! Maria will host Code Red's MARIA'S B MOVIE MAYHEM, and the first round of her horror/exploitation DVD releases will street in September! Maria will bring you the gory horror cult classic MARDI GRAS MASSACRE, the Native American horror flick HAUNTED with Aldo Ray, and Double-bills of SCREAM / BARN OF THE NAKED DEAD and LOVE ME DEADLY / CURIOUS CASE OF THE CAMPUS CORPSE. Then, on 9 more releases, Maria will host many other exploitation films including NIGHT OF THE DEMON, VAMPIRE AT MIDNIGHT, CAGED MEN, VOODOO DOLLS/MADONNA: CASE OF BLOOD AMBITION, RIOT ON 42ND STREET/BAD GIRLS DORMITORY, TEENAGE HITCHHIKERS/TEENAGE TRAMP, and more! All will feature Maria introducing the film, and appearing again after the film is over. The films will all be uninterrupted and uncut. Some of the DVDs will feature extras, as well.

Maria is a great gal and she had a lot of fun hosting this upcoming DVD series. Many wrestling fans are also horror fans so hopefully this can turn many wrestling fans onto CODE RED product. Having one of the most popular former WWE divas hosting our films is truly an honor.

Wal-Mart, possibly. I was in there the other day and saw I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, the remake. Now, if they'd carry a flick like that, they certainly would carry these.

Oh and I love Maria. She's originally from Ottawa, Illinois which is 20 minutes from my house in Peru. That and she's hot.

Yeah $10 for those double feature DVDs would probably sell at Wal-Mart. There is just something just sleazy enough about that chick on the cover, plus it promises 2-movies and extra material for cheap. However, he will probably sell them for like $25 through the Code Red website and no one will bother to buy them again.

CODE RED received a larger number of complaints than usual regarding Maria Kanellis being on the covers and also how they are not reversible. If these complaints had been worded in a more kind or civil manner instead of being nasty, we would've listened to the requests. The NIGHT OF THE DEMON request really bugs me since the majority of kids want the original theatrical poster. After doing reseach, it was confirmed that a theatrical poster was never made for the film. Now we get down to the problem of the reversible cover. Since the majority of requests were made by people who made nasty comments, Code Red has decided to create a reversible cover and exclusively dedicates it to all the people who said nasty things about Maria. Enjoy the other cover! (:

Thank goodness for crazy people.  Their rants make life so much more fun.  I find it hard to believe the cover for Night of the Demon caused Code Red to get a larger than normal amount of complaints from horror fans.

Seriously... The fanbase for that movie has to be small, and the people who are concerned about the cover has to be even smaller, and the people who would complain about it ever smaller. By my calculations that means one person wrote something nasty about Maria. Who the fuck is Maria?

I like Maria, she's one of the better Divas. Or at least she was 4 years ago when I was watching wrestling regularly.

They should've hired "Daffney" to host these horror flicks.  At least she looks like a horror fan.  And she needs the money because she got hurt (brain injury, crushed sternum) while working for TNA.  Then the company fired her when she complained about her medical bills.  Anyway, she would make a better scream queen host than this chick.
