Which one of these summer blockbusters do want to see and which one will do better at the Box-office.......I thought the Star Trek trailer looked pretty sweet when i first saw it , took a while for me to remember i was'nt a big fan o' da series . Terminator looks better to me and i think the series is more consistent overall....

I guess it depends on if you're a Star Trek fan or not, but calling Star Trek inconsistent is a little like calling the Bond films inconsistent no? I mean the Terminator movies are a movie franchise that have a story that continues. The Star Trek movies are based off a TV show that didn't really have a continuing story line in the first place.
I was a huge fan of Terminator as a kid and figured the franchise was finished with part three, and would have been excited for this film ten years ago, but after seeing the trailer twice I'm excited for it. As for Star Trek I don't know if you could ever make it cool, but I'm curious to see if they achieved it or not. So I think I'm more excited for Terminator than Trek.

Star Trek is very consistent. Terminator has slight mistakes here and there, mainly because with any movie dealing with time travel, you're going to have problems. Also, Salvation is the first Terminator film to be bumped down to a PG-13 movie in its franchise whereas Star Trek has kept a PG/PG13 rating (the difference in those ratings is due to the different decades they were made)
I grew up watching Star Trek: TNG and with the first two terminator films. I'm a fan of Schwarzenegger and William Shatner. I find the idea of exploring space fascinating and curious and I find a war between man and machine to be intriguing and frightening.
I like both sci-fi films and I will definitely go see both. I do, however, believe that Star Trek will be more successful. The large fan base and decades of tv series, movies, and conventions will immensely overwhelm Terminator.

Star Trek Films have been inconsistent to say the least , like the one (part 5 ?) where the travel to present day earth to save the whales . Terminator 3 was a little weak but compared to that mess it was pretty good...

Star Trek is fucking lame!
Definitely Terminator, although I don't really want to see either film.

I've never been a fan of any incarnation of the Star Trek series, but the new movie looks pretty good. I'm anticipating it over Terminator, although I do want to see both of them.

In the case of Star Trek....if you take a shit sandwich and you put it on new bread with fresh mayo and melt more cheese on it , it is still a shit sandwich..........
