I'm a big fan of the films of Jim Van Bebber, I was on the fence as to what board this topic was best suited for, but eventually decided that Deadbeat At Dawn and The Manson Family are closer to old school exploitation than horror or the dreaded "other" wasteland.
Deadbeat At Dawn is such a bad ass flick. Violence, kung fu, gang fights, tripped out shit. I love that flick.
Then there's The Manson Family. The best Manson flick ever made. Captures the vibe of the family better then Helter Skelter in my opinion.
I also love My Sweet Satan. I have been fascinated with Ricky Kasso for many years, and this was a fantastic short film about his life and crimes.
Any other fans of Jim Van Bebber? Let's hear it!!!
