Dave, you really dig Deadly Blessing?  I even decided to watch it a 2nd time years ago, and I hated it worse than the 1st time I watched it.  I guess I'm just picky about Craven flicks.  I agree with Hammer's list of Craven's best.  I think that is all for me too.

  Its not my fav but I like it.  A young nubile Sharon Stone.. A creepy Ernest Borgnine.. and a Totally whacked out shock ending.......whats not to like?  I will take any of the early Craven, Carpenter, Romero's over most of the crap around today...

Has anyone listened to the new baddies cast commentary track on the UK 3 disc edition, or the new region 1 re-release?  It's hilarious.  Hess spends most of the time talking shit to Fred Lincoln and talking about how he raped Sandra Peabody (Mari) for real, Lincoln talks about how much he hates the movie and how he slept with Lucy Grantham (Lucy) and the guy who played Junior just makes jokes about what's going on.

You should, it's hilarious!  At one point Weasel and Junior talk about the book on the movie David Szulkin wrote on the film.  Hess is like "WHO THE FUCK IS THAT, WHAT THE FUCK DOES HE KNOW ABOUT THIS MOVIE?!", which is made more hilarious because he is INTERVIEWED several times throughout the book.
