I know Tarantino copies all that those old flix that he likes, but does that really make his movies bad.
I still liked em all!

Yeah.  He more "borrows" than anything.  He usually pays tribute to the stuff that inspired him.  Most filmmakers do this, and forget to mention who they took from.  At least he's honest about it.

I like his films, too. The good thing about his love/obsession with the Japanese movies is that an audience who may not have known about them are being exposed to them. This could cause many to seek out these movies that otherwise would have remained obscure.They are now available to a brand new audience. I have no problem with a director paying homage to other films as long as they acknowledge the original films, and have some well written original ideas of their own.
