This is all going on the main site in a few days or so, but for now you guys be the judge.
The people on our message board are who we dictate to. I try to bring you guys the content you like first, and worry about the rest second because you guys are Horror Yearbook. So you be the jury. Director Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs) thinks Molly's statement about his new movie Driftwood is homophobic.
"Included a Special Screening that WIL wanted to see, but I didn’t. The movie features a bunch of guys huckle-bucking each other in a confined space. Stars a Laguna Beach grad and a wrestler. I am thinking this will be bad."
I don't think so, but I'll put it to vote if we should remove it.

Holy Crap WIL! I cannot believe you posted that. Man, it does sound a little funny that I said "huckle-buck", but Sullivan doesn't know the meaning of that word. I was making a joke and referencing something one of The Jerky Boys said on an old tape I have.
Anyway, to clear the air, I am not a homophobe. That would probably be a problem for me considering I have lived near San Francisco for over 20 years. I have a diverse group of friends with my longest friendship of 14 years being to a Philippino gay man. Go figure.
P.S. My ex-girlfriend might get weirded out if she ever found out she dated a homophobe, so please don't tell her. :wink:

I'm not sure what the statement was going for. On one hand it's making fun of the kid from MTV and the wrestler. If Molly meant anything else by it, how do I know. I wouldn't call it homophobic.
You coulda said "I'm not interested in a film about a bunch of guys featuring a wrestler and a reality-tv star. It doesn't appeal to me." but that would've been the same thing right? would the "bunch of guys" line set someone off? People are too sensitive.
