Dexter is on Showtime on Sundays. This is my wifes and mine guilty pleasure. A Serial Killer that works in CSI and kills serial killers! Yea it sounds a little like Suspect Zero, but it doesn't even resemble that flick. The whole series is based on the character Dexter and how he tries to cope with not feeling any real human emotion and put on a smiling face for the public. I know what your saying, " This sounds cheesy and so forced." No, shut up you. The character is so well written, you actaully feel the awkwardness he feels in normal daily dillemas.
A must see, Fo'Sure.

Episode last night was alright, dealt rather nicely as to how Dexter is dealing rather nicely to being a person with compassion. The previews for the next episode.........gave me goosbumps.

I've read the books, and they are a lot of fun. I don't have showtime though, so I'm waiting for the DVD.

From what I have heard, the series has been sticking closely to them. At least the first few anyways. There are 2 of them so far. "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" and "Dearly Devoted Dexter", both by Jeff Lindsay. Very funny and creepy. Dexter is a great character. I've always thought of him as the anti-thesis to Patrick (American Psycho) Bateman.

OH DEAR GOD!
that last episode was frakking brilliant! It ended so well and surprised the hell out of me. Very sad indeed but damn good.
I just picked up the book for my wife, it's her x-mas present so ssshhhh...

I just got the first season on DVD and let me tell you DO NOT read the books then watch the show. I have a feeling I would have liked the show much better if I didn't read the books. This seems like a show first, books second type of thing. I am on the second dvd and it is starting to get a little more interesting, so hopefully it keeps up.

Ehhh I think I am going to skip season two for now, I rather catch up on Desperate Housewives. I cannot see what everyone is raving about with Dexter.
