Here it is… The first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Directed by David Slade and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. According to The Sun Twilight star Robert Pattinson admitted that he is indeed dating co-star Kristen Stewart at Sunday’s BAFTAs.
“Brit actor Robert carried on with the secrecy at Sunday’s Bafta bash – then admitted they were a couple at the post-do dinner.”
“We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”

It has been a looong time since I’ve updated our Twilight blog, and I figured that posting a picture of Robert Pattinson’s new greasy hairdo at the BAFTAs in London last night, is a great way to get it rolling again. Their was an uproar from fans and the studio the last time Pattinson cut his hair… So I wonder what the reaction will be like this time!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon hasn’t even finished mopping up the competition yet, and posters for the third film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, have already started hitting theaters. Check out the first one sheet for the film below.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon broke the record for midnight openings with $26.27 million at 3,514 theaters, and smashed The Dark Knight’s single day record ($67.2 million) by earning $72.7 million on Friday at 4,024 theaters.

As big as the first Twilight film was, the hype for New Moon has been even bigger. With the bigger budget and improved special effects not to mention Taylor Lautner’s new look and enhanced chemistry with Kristen Stewart, the anticipation was high and the film did not disappoint. Most people either love or hate the Twilight series. Although, I think New Moon is a definite step up from Twilight and an all around better film, most likely this isn’t going to gain many new fans (except for those that Taylor Lautner’s killer screen presence converts). It’s in the same spirit as the first, but with more action, tension, and gets deeper in to the world of the supernatural rather than having to bother with all of the introductions.

I have to admit since I was given the job of covering everything Twilight on Horror Yearbook I have become slightly obsessed with Ashley Greene. What can I say… She is hot! Kristen Stewart’s sleepy stoner look just doesn’t do it for me.
Anywhoo I have a few pictures from the New Moon premiere. Most of them are of Ashley Greene and the other two are of Robert Pattinson and Stewart. I would also like to point out that this is our 100th post on our Twilight blog. It is kind of fitting since New Moon comes out this Friday!

Here are the latest pictures that are fueling the Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart dating rumors. The actors were caught holding hands at an airport in Paris. They also stopped to take a picture with a thumb lady… Sorry, but seriously that lady(?) in the picture looks like a thumb!
Pattinson recently told Vanity Fair that the two are not a couple.
“It doesn’t make any difference what you say to the tabloids. I’ve literally been across the country from Kristen, and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’”
I honestly don’t know why if they were dating they would need to keep it such a secret!

In New Moon, you compete for a woman’s affections. Has that ever happened to you in real life?
Yeah, it has, but any girl I’ve ever really wanted to go out with in the past, I’ve always lost to someone else! I know that sounds like the ones I did go out with were the ones I didn’t want to go out with, but that’s not the case. A lot of my ambitions are tied up with wanting pretty girls to like me [laughs].

I’m sorry, maybe it is because I’m not a teen girl, but I just can’t get into Anya Marina’s Satellite Heart from the New Moon soundtrack. Why do all the songs for the Twilight Saga have to be so slow and depressing? Do the characters in the books ever have any fun? Or is it all brooding, all the time?
Anywhoo here is the music video for the song. It is basically Marina walking around the woods in a hoodie. Is this the kind of stuff Twilight fans like?

Here are three really exciting New Moon posters, featuring the Cullens, the Volturi, and the Wolf Pack. We are so close to The Twilight Saga: New Moon hitting theaters on November 20th, I’m not sure how much more marketing Summit can release. All that is really left to be seen, is if director Chris Weitz actually made the Twilight film fans have been dreaming about.
After Bella recovers from the vampire attack that almost claimed her life, she looks to celebrate her birthday with Edward and his family. However, a minor accident during the festivities results in Bella’s blood being shed, a sight that proves too intense for the Cullens, who decide to leave the town of Forks, Washington for Bella and Edward’s sake. Initially heartbroken, Bella finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Jacob Black. Danger in different forms awaits.

Jackson Rathbone injured his back on the set of Eclipse, but he is fine according to a Summit Entertainment rep.
“Actor Jackson Rathbone of ‘The Twilight Saga’ movies, was slightly injured yesterday during a fight scene rehearsal,” the rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “As a precaution, he was driven to the hospital and checked out by a doctor.”
Eclipse is the third film in the “Twilight Saga”, and is due in theaters May 2010.
