In the latest webisode of Slime City Survivor — a video serious chronicling the making of Greg Lamberson’s film Slime City Massacre, currently in post-production — Street Trash writer Roy Frumkes discusses his plans for a Street Trash 3! While there is no Street Trash 2, Frumkes thinks that 20-years is too long to make a direct sequel, so he plans to skip part 2 and go straight to part 3.
In the very interesting 8 minute long webisode, Frumkes talks about The Substitute franchise, Street Trash and of course Slime City 2. If you want to skip to the Street Trash 3 news it is at the 3:52 mark, but I recommend watching the entire video. To see all the episodes of Slime City Survivor visit our SCM page, or subscribe to the official YouTube page. The webisodes include daily production updates, behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Debbie Rochon, Lee Perkins, Brooke Lewis, Lloyd Kaufman and more.
Roy plays Ronald Crump in Slime City Massacre the sequel to the 1988 cult classic Slime City.

We’re are little behind updating our Slime City Survivor section, so here are episodes 18, 19 and 20. Episode 19 features me prancing around like a fairy and episode 20 is my interview with Lloyd Kaufman. Uncle Lloyd talks about his cameo in Slime City Massacre, sleeping in Debbie Rochon’s bed and gives us an update on Toxic Avenger 5.
You normally don’t here my voice during the interviews so please excuse my stuttering. I didn’t know my sexy lisp was going to be heard! Thanks for the heads up Madeleine!

Making a low budget horror film can be difficult and frustrating, as you will see in episode 16 of Slime City Survivor. Watch as the crew run into several sound problems that include, a persistent ice cream man, and a musical festival!
But who needs sound when you have post-apocalyptic hookers!
In episode 17 we interview Playboy model Angelina Leigh about what it takes to survive in Slime City after a dirty bomb attack, and of course this wouldn’t be Horror Yearbook if we didn’t track down one of her Playboy spreads for you. Details after the vids.

Here are episodes 13 and 14 of Slime City Survivor. Pay close attention to episode 14 because yours truly finally makes an appearance. Also make sure you come back for the next few episodes to hear Lloyd Kaufman and Roy Frumkes make some pretty big announcements during their SCS interviews.
Slime City Massacre is the sequel to Greg Lamberson’s 1988 cult classic Slime City. The movie follows four squatters trying to survive after a “dirty bomb” attack on New York City. While searching for food in the ruins of the Zachary Devon Soup Kitchen they discover a supply of mysterious wine that transforms them into hideous slime creatures.

One of the more interesting aspects of filming Slime City Massacre was “actor house.” Instead of spending a lot of money for the movie’s out-of-town actors to stay in expensive hotel rooms, director Greg Lamberson, rented a run down, four bedroom house for them to stay in. The “actor house” provided shelter for: Debbie Rochon, Lee Perkins, Kealan Patrick Burke, Lloyd Kaufman, Roy Frumkes and even Horror Yearbook’s own Andrew Walsh and myself.
In the age where reality TV is king, we all know that forcing four strangers to live with one another could be a recipe for disaster, but for the most part the “actor house” experiment was a positive one, allowing the cast to get to know each other and develop a bond that showed in their work on the film. For an example of this bonding experience and to see Debbie Rochon hunting rats check out the video titled, Nightmare on Heath Street below.

Here is episode 8 of Slime City Survivor. This one features an interview I did with my best friend on the set, actor Lee Perkins. Lee has appeared in Live Evil with Tim Thomerson, the upcoming Dahmer vs. Gacy and Carnies.
I also need to thank Madelenine Koestner who has been doing the camera work and editing that makes it seem like I can almost conduct a proper interview.
Up next Jennifer Bihl talks about her slime sex scene!

I have been on the set of Slime City Massacre for 13 days and I have not been thrown off or arrested yet… Things are looking good, and not just for me! Greg Lamberson and crew have been working hard on SCM, and I can’t wait to see the final cut of the film.
As for Horror Yearbook’s involvement; I have contributed by drinking coffee and getting tossed out of bars. I also learned that you should never call me a “production assistant” while I’m drunk, I like to be referred to as a “journalist” even though I have never committed an act of journalism in my life.
Anywhoo here is episode 7 of Slime City Survivor and I hope to have some exclusive pictures this week. So stay tuned to our Slime City Survivor page for future updates, videos, and interviews.
