Shark Night 3D opens in theaters on September 2, 2011.
A sexy summer weekend turns into a blood-soaked nightmare for a group of college students trapped on an island surrounded by voracious underwater predators in Shark Night 3D, a terrifying thrill ride from director David Ellis.
Arriving by boat at her family’s Louisiana lake island cabin, Sara (Sara Paxton) and her friends quickly strip down to their swimsuits for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when star football player Malik (Sinqua Walls) stumbles from the salt-water lake with his arm torn off, the party mood quickly evaporates. Assuming the injury was caused by a freak wake-boarding accident, the group realizes they have to get Malik to a hospital on the other side of the lake, and fast.
But as they set out in a tiny speedboat, the college friends discover the lake has been stocked with hundreds of massive, flesh-eating sharks! As they face one grisly death after another, Sara and the others struggle desperately to fend off the sharks, get help and stay alive long enough to reach the safety of dry land.

Before Katie Holmes traded her life away for barley water and motherhood, she was known for showing off skin in decent movies. If Crusie committed any crime against humanity, it was taking Holmes away from us! But don’t cry! We haven’t totally lost her yet…

I just bought one of those Midnight Horror movie packs for $5 at Walmart. I mostly bought it for Demonic Toys, but it also features the Asylum film I Am Omega. Believe it or not it was actually better than Will Smith’s I Am Legend. It features the guy from Iron Chef (Mark Dacascos) in the Robert Neville role, and instead of vampires it has mutants. I recommend it to people who enjoy low-budget post-apocalyptic movies.
Asylum is currently working on another film entitled 2 Headed Shark starring Carmen Electra, Brooke Hogan, Charlie O’ Connell, Christina Bach Norman and David Gallegos. I have a feeling this one won’t be as good as I Am Omega. Check out Electra and her huge boobs on the set below.

I know we’ve been doing a poor job of keeping Horror Yearbook stocked with hot chicks, but I think most of us are still in shock after the man took us down. Our internet empire has crumbled, most of us are starving and now Obama it threatening no welfare checks next month. This recession is killing us!

An insider close to the actress told MovieWeb, “Megan is a huge fan of the original and would love the chance to play the lead. She’s 25 now but she’s sure she could still do justice to teenage Carrie.”

I have to admit, I did see Twilight in theaters, and I did watch the second movie with a friend on DVD, but I’m no expert on the books or anything, so if I get this wrong too bad. I think Bella (Kristen Stewart) eventually bangs the vampire (Robert Pattinson) and has a vampire baby. The virginity stealing takes place in Eclipse(?), and the vampire coven, the Volturi, try to abort the baby in Breaking… Oh who cares! Summer is coming and so are the summer superhero movies, Thor and Captain America, which will lead us to Joss Whedon’s Avengers in 2012. I thought for sure Whedon would cast Summer Glau as Wasp, but I guess none of the Whedonverse actors made the cut… Maybe she’ll be in the sequel.

Every time I see attention whore AnnaLynne McCord it reminds of a movie I’ve seen listed on IMDB, Two Wolves. The horror/thriller is said to be in “pre-production” and is being directed by Alex Wright (Seance). According to Pop Star, the film stars Malcolm McDowell (although he is not listed on the IMDB page) and McCord… And that’s all the info I can find. I’m not sure if the film will ever see the light of day, Wright is currently involved with two other projects, and if my memory serves me right, Two Wolves has been is “pre-production” for a long time.

I’m pretty sure Primal
played at Cannes last year, and from what I remember it looked promising. The movie follows five friends who join anthropology student Dace on a journey to study a remote ancient rock painting. Their excitement vanishes when Mel becomes delirious after skinny-dipping in the waterhole. Feverish bleeding confused she physically and mentally regresses to a vicious predatory state. Mel has gone primal. Mels lover and friends realize they are the prey as she savagely hunts them down.
