Long Synopsis from IMDB.com: Release Date September 3, 2009

Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) is nearing the end of his contract with Lunar. He’s been a faithful employee for 3 long years. His home has been Selene, a moon base where he has spent his days alone, mining Helium 3. The precious gas holds the key to reversing the Earth’s energy crisis.

Isolated, determined and steadfast, Sam has followed the rulebook obediently and his time on the moon has been enlightening, but uneventful. The solitude has given him time to reflect on the mistakes of his past and work on his raging temper. He does his job mechanically, and spends most of his available time dreaming of his imminent return to Earth, to his wife, young daughter and an early retirement.

But 2 weeks shy of his departure from Selene, Sam starts seeing things, hearing things and feeling strange. And when a routine extraction goes horribly wrong, he discovers that Lunar have their own plans for replacing him and the new recruit is eerily familiar.

Before he can return to Earth, Sam has to confront himself and the discovery that the life he has created, may not be his own. It’s more than his contract that is set to expire.

“With deep personal sadness I must announce that my dear friend and client Bettie Page passed away at 6:41pm PST this evening in a Los Angles hospital. She died peacefully but had never regained consciousness after suffering a heart attack nine days ago.

You may or may not know this but I love and hate Entertainment Weekly, I can't go 1 week without reading it, but boy do they piss me off sometimes. Like the time they ruined the ending of first season of Desperate Housewives for me, but I digress, because this has nothing to do with my relationship with ET or horror actually. So why are we publishing this then? Well some horror fans are Star Trek fans and may be interested in these new pictures from ET Weekly.

Introducing our new Not Horror But... section here is the cover of this weeks Entertainment Weekly featuring Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine in their Star Trek XI uniforms as Mr. Spock (Sylar makes a creepy looking Spock) and James T. Kirk, and bridge shot of the Enterprise crew.

From left to right: Anton Yelchin as Chekov, Chris Pine as James T. Kirk, Simon Pegg as Lt. Montgomery Scott, Karl Urban as Dr. McCoy, John Cho as Sulu, and Zoe Saldana as Uhura.
