The Burrowers Clip

Lionsgate was nice enough to send us a clip of the The Burrowers, watch it after the jump. The film will be making its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next week and then it’s US premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin on Sept. 21st, then plays at SCREAMFEST in October before hitting DVD April 2009.

Synopsis:

From its opening images of the Dakota territories in 1879, The Burrowers appears to be every inch a Western. But in the hands of writer/director J.T. Petty, The Burrowers probes horrors that no Western could ever fathom. What begins as a tale worthy of John Ford – a band of hardened ranchers set off into the wilderness to rescue a family kidnapped by a Native American tribe – turns into a terrifying encounter with a gruesome species that’s far from human.

Two New Twilight Pictures and Updated Trailer

These Twilight pictures may not be new to the web, but they are new to Horror Yearbook. I have been swept up in so much Twilight mania myself, I’m a bit confused on what we posted or not. Also below are two of the updated Twilight teaser trailers. Enjoy!

Remember Twilight will be in theaters November 21st.

Cleavagefield Trailer

Jim Wynorski is back, and back with a bang! His new film Cleavagefield looks great! You can watch the trailer on the official My Space here.

Sea of Dust Trailer Starring Tom Savini

HorrorMovies.ca just posted the new trailer for Sea of Dust (watch below) starring Tom Savini, Stuart Rudin, Suzie Lorraine and Edward X Young.

They describe the movie as: “A mind bending tale of evil with state of the art Special Effects by Josh Turi (Wendigo)! Lots of blood and gore, sensational High Definition Cinematography!”

Whatever that means…

Saw V Trailer

Every time I publish Saw V news it reminds me of something Jerry Dennis said in his Saw IV review:

Although at the end of [Saw IV], one kid shouted out, ‘there better not be a Saw V.’ I did not have the heart to tell him that five and six are already in the pipeline.”

Saw V news always makes me think of that kid. Anyway here is another trailer for the newest Saw movie, out in theaters on October 24th.

It Came From My Space: Sick Girl (2008) Trailer

I was goofing off on My Space and stumbled over the Sick Girl trailer (watch below). It stars Leslie Andrews (who is like 16 you perverts), John McGarr, Charlie Trepany (who is like 12 your perverts) and it is directed by Eben McGarr. Yeah I have never heard of them either but the trailer looks great.

Beyond the Grave Trailer

Lockheart Filmes Ltda. presents the first full trailer (Watch Trailer Here) of the independent Brazilian horror-fantasy BEYOND THE GRAVE (aka PORTO DOS MORTOS). The preview of the feature film can be viewed at the official website www.beyondthegravemovie.com. Written and directed by Davi de Oliveira Pinheiro (who’s also producing with Isidoro B. Guggiana), BEYOND THE GRAVE follows the unstoppable hunt of the vengeful cop Lockheart (Rafael Tombini) for Adam, a supernatural serial killer. The film is currently in post-production and looking for international distribution.

Comic-Con Saw 5 Teaser Trailer

Saw V teaser poster, the teaser trailer is not hiding any Subliminal Homosexual Messages in it. Perhaps they didn’t think a lot of homosexuals would attend the San Diego Comic-Con. However it does paint Jigsaw as some kind of savior, which leads me to believe this Saw movie is going to be chock-full of preachy shit by their dead killer. Even though I was never a fan of the franchise, I have to say they never let down on the gore. We can at least give them props for that.

Dead and Gone Trailer

Synopsis: Actor Jack Wade (Quentin Jones of “Fight Night”) takes his comatose wife Frankie (Kathrine Bates of “General Hospital”) to an isolated cabin in the mountains-a place where a man once murdered his entire family.
Jack was a kept man. Now he must care for Frankie alone, because they have run out of money. This dilapidated [...]

R-rated Asylum Trailer Looks Decent

From director David R. Ellis (Final Destination 2) comes another film titled Asylum. Below is the R-rated trailer, and it looks like it may be pretty decent.

The Moretti House Trailer

Creepy houses have always been a horror staple, but like any horror subgenre they can be done wrong. Will The Moretti House be a new low budget, diamond in the rough, or another independent horror film to toss on the crap pile? Watch the trailer below then check out their My Space here.

Like the Blair Witch? Check out Blood Mountain Trailer

Blood Mountain looks like The Blair Witch Project without the smart marketing campaign. All we have is a teaser trailer, but no other info. Check it out after the jump and let us know what you think.

Discuss Blood Mountain Here.

X-Files: I Want To Believe Trailer Online

July 25, 2008 is the day you can see the new X-Files: I Want To Believe film, but if you head on over to Geeks Of Doom you can see the new trailer that has popped up online.

Wanted Trailer More Violent in Russian

The Wanted comic book was great, however people have their suspicions about the movie. The U.S. trailers make it look lame, but the violent Russian trailer makes it look like it may not be so bad after all. Check it out after the jump.

House of Black Wings Trailer

I have earned my “red wings” but not my black wings. Black girls do not like me very much, I am too white and dorky. Anyway you can watch the trailer for the new film House of Black Wings below. It seems like one of those mind-fuck ghost movies.
