I found a great tower defense game to keep us busy until Kingdom Rush 2 is released. In Haunted Suburb you must defend your neighborhood from zombies and ghosts. You do this by using three different towers and two types of traps.
After the disappointing Last Stand: Union City, it’s refreshing that one game stuck to its roots. If you were a fan of the original Rebuild you won’t be disappointed by Rebuild 2. It’s just like the first with a few great tweaks.
It has been a long wait but the sequel to The Last Stand 2 is finally here, and it’s an entirely different game. The simplicity of the original is gone, and it has been turned into a side scrolling game, instead of a simple point and click shooting game.

Armor Games has finally released Crush the Castle 2: Players Pack! Just like the original Players Pack, part 2 offers all new user created castles to crush. There are plenty of levels, 24 achievements, and all the original weapons are at your disposal.
I may have five blogs to manage and a new writing job that started this week, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have time to play video games. I discovered two new zombie flash games today, one is a World War I shooter that reminds me a little of The Last Stand 2, and the other is a tower defense game. In the Carveola Incident, you must defend your barricade against an onslaught of zombies. You can hire more troops to help you kill the reliving, buy upgrades and order artillery strikes. There are six different types of men to choose from, and various weapons you can unlock.
I normally don’t play shooting games, I’m not good at using the mouse and keyboard at the same time, but Zombie Safari is a pretty easy game to control. Use your mouse to fire your weapon, and wasd or the arrow keys to move your truck as you try to outrun zombies, dogs, alligators and giant flies. Drive over wrenches to improve your health, and money to buy upgrades and better weapons.
Rebuild is the newest free zombie flash game I discovered. It’s basically a point and click strategy game where you must rebuild your city. You can recruit survivors, scavenge for food, and kill zombies to expand your city walls. The game can be pretty hard and tedious, but if you’re bored at home or work like me, it’s decent enough to kill a few hours.
Electronic Arts Inc. and Anchor Bay Entertainment announced that a new Dead Space animated movie, Dead Space Aftermath will be available on January 25 to coincide with the release of the highly anticipated videogame, Dead Space 2. Check out the trailer for the animated movie below.
Not as complex as our Zombie Flash Game of the Year, Shattered Colony, Zombie Trailer Park is a new and easy to play free flash game from Ninja Kiwi.
Defend your trailer park from the zombie hordes as you add buildings, buy upgrades and more units. Your army consists of Shovel Men, Angry Farmers, Survivalists, Monnshine Bombers and Preachers (who can convert the undead). There are four levels of zombie mayhem to challenge you.
The same day I announced Shattered Colony as the best online zombie game of 2010, HYB writer Madeleine pointed out that someone remade the classic elementary school game Oregon Trail with zombies.
Oregon Trail was the only reason I made it to middle school. In 3rd grade our school got an Apple II computer and my life was changed. Our teacher could sign out the computer and two kids would volunteer to roll it back to class. If you finished your assignment, you and a friend could play Oregon Trail. This was enough motivation for me to stop daydreaming and actually do school work! I was obsessed!
If you have a boring office job, or are a loser who lives with a relative like me, then you probably frequent free online game sites like I do. So far I have only played two zombie flash games that were worth my time, Zombie Baseball, and the best ever The Last Stand 2. Now you can add Shattered Colony to the list.
It’s part tower defense, part strategy and all awesome. It takes a little getting used to, but I guarantee you will be addicted once you do.

1st is The Last Stand 2 — During the day you must search the town for survivors, weapons and supplies. At night barricade yourself in, set traps and shoot zombies to survive. You must go town to town until you can get to your final destination to escape the undead. A lot of fun!
2nd Zombie Baseball — Kill zombies with your trusty baseball bat and balls (heh). Not as stupid as it sounds and also a lot of fun.
Below is Zombieman where you play a human and a zombie at the same time. Shoot zombies to turn them into humans, and eat humans to turn them into zombies.
