Charles Band revealed the new Bombshell puppet from Puppet Master X: Axis Rising. You can see the original Bombshell prototype from the never filmed Puppet Wars below. There are also more concept pictures on Jay Woelfel’s official website. According to the teaser picture the third evil puppet will be revealed sometime next month. Hopefully we will get a synopsis and trailer soon too!
Character actor Ian Abercrombie died Thursday in Hollywood. He was 77. Abercrombie is known to horror fans as Dr. Hess (the soul of Blade) from Puppet Master III. He also appeared in Army of Darkness and played Professor Crumbs on Wizards of Waverly Place. The cause of his death is unknown.
Longtime Horror Yearbook contributer Kelsey Zukowski has teamed up with Travis Legge (Raymond Did It) to produce the short dark drama Words Like Knives. Written by and starring Zukowski, the movie follows Emma, a girl who seems to have it all until one mean-spirited rumor tears her life apart.

The latest evil puppet from Puppet Master X: Axis Rising will be revealed on January 25th, but the big news is that the first nine Puppet Master movies are only $45 from Fullmoondirect.com. I’ve been goofing off all day waiting for the Resident Evil: Retribution trailer Milla Jovovich promised us would be released today. Good thing I checked her Twitter feed because it has been delayed until tomorrow the 19th. Now I can get back to important things like looking at porn and playing video games.

Milla Jovovich tweeted that the trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution will be shown in 3D before Underworld: Awakening on January 20th. The trailer will make its online debut on the 18th.
People are finding a lot of screwed up homemade movies these days… Footage has been found in space (Apollo 18), at the Amityville house twice (Amityville Haunting, Amityville Horror: The Lost Tapes), and several exorcisms gone wrong have been filmed by documentary film crews. The truth is out there and it’s being captured on home video!
It had been originally reported that Piranha 3DD wasn’t going to receive a US theatrical release after it went straight to DVD in the UK. I blamed the writing team and failure of Shark Night 3D as the cause for Dimension yanking the film from its November 2011 release date.
Asking the team behind the over the top Feast franchise to write and direct Piranha 2 was a bad idea that resulted in the loss of a lot of fans.
