I’ve been goofing off all day waiting for the Resident Evil: Retribution trailer Milla Jovovich promised us would be released today. Good thing I checked her Twitter feed because it has been delayed until tomorrow the 19th. Now I can get back to important things like looking at porn and playing video games.

While we wait for the Resident Evil: Retribution trailer to be released, here’s Piranha 3D hottie Kelly Brook modeling New Look lingerie. Brook was one of our most popular searches in 2010. If Hollywood and independent horror directors only knew how to internet properly, they would’ve been banging down Brook’s door to cast her in more horror films. Her nude scene in Piranha 3D is now a horror classic, and was voted one of the top scenes of 2010 by Mr. Skin. Not one horror movie cracked Mr. Skin’s top ten list of 2011.
Magnet Releasing has released the trailer for Playback starring Christian Slater. It looks like a Ring type flick involving dodgy video tapes. You can watch the trailer here.
I’m not sure what qualifies someone as a “scream queen,” but if the criteria is appearing in four or five horror films, Meagan Good could be considered one. The thing I like about Good is she has starred in a variety of different genres. She was in the action flicks Biker Boyz and D.E.B.S.. She appeared in the dancing movie You Got Served, the comedy The Cookout, the teenaged film noir Brick and of course the horror films Venom, One Missed Call, Saw V and The Unborn. That’s a pretty impressive resume if you ask me! Plus she is adding fantasy to her long list of credits with the D&D flick, The Book of Vile Darkness.
I’m not sure what Olivia Munn is famous for. Appearing on that awful network G4 or her few forgettable appearances on the Daily Show? Whatever the reason, there is no denying she is the queen of the nerds. It doesn’t take much to impress fat neckbeards. Especially if you have a vagina.
Milla Jovovich tweeted that the trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution will be shown in 3D before Underworld: Awakening on January 20th. The trailer will make its online debut on the 18th.
I first became aware of Carlos Atanes’ third feature film Maximum Shame because its cast included, among others, the British scream queen Eleanor James, whom I really enjoyed in films such as Colour From The Dark and Forest of the Damned. I was even fortunate enough to meet her on the sets of Unrated – The Movie and Karl The Butcher Vs. Axe. Elle’s scene in Atanes’ movie, however, is rather short and weird… and to be honest it didn’t help much to aid my viewing pleasure of what’s most likely one of the strangest, most fucked up and unfortunately least entertaining flicks I’ve seen in quite some time.

Saint Dracula is the first ever stereoscopic 3D film to be made about Dracula… Or so the Wikipedia page claims. It’s directed by Rupesh Paul who directed My Mother’s Laptop. I guess it isn’t technically a “Bollywood” film, but I couldn’t think of a better title.
People are finding a lot of screwed up homemade movies these days… Footage has been found in space (Apollo 18), at the Amityville house twice (Amityville Haunting, Amityville Horror: The Lost Tapes), and several exorcisms gone wrong have been filmed by documentary film crews. The truth is out there and it’s being captured on home video!
I found a great tower defense game to keep us busy until Kingdom Rush 2 is released. In Haunted Suburb you must defend your neighborhood from zombies and ghosts. You do this by using three different towers and two types of traps.
Indie horror director, Patrick Rea, has shown great promise through his darkly dramatic collection of short films. They have style and substance, slowly built up to explore an unexpected yet all encompassing personal horror. His feature, Nailbater, shows much of this same promise. It has great atmosphere, production values, and performances. Still, it felt like it fell short of the potential it held.
It’s hard not being a hypochondriac when doctors have been telling you that you’re going to die from an pulmonary embolism for over 12 years. Back by popular demand (Okay only one person asked but he’s a very important person)… Katrina Bowden! The 30 Rock star appeared on our radar when she showed off her pretty ass in the February 2012 issue of Maxim magazine. Bowden is starring in Piranha 3DD which should be released later this year.
