Erotic French Film Blackaria: NSFW Pics

I miss the days of going to my local video store and hiding a French skin flick between copies of “normal” new releases, so I could fast-forward to the titty parts when I got home. I would normally watch them as a warm-up to my hardcore porn masturbation sessions. Too much info? Too bad!

Today I tripped over some nude vidcaps from a French film called Blackaria. Its IMDB page offered zero info, not even a description, and a quick Google search only found references to the Danzig album. After a little more digging I found a message board with some more images, and a link to a French review.

According to Eric Dinkian of DevilDead.com, the Blackaria filmmakers seemed to be inspired by the giallo films of Dario Argento and some Japanese exploitation films of the 70s. The movie was originally planned as a anthology of three different films called 3 Hits From Hell, but for some reason they decided to merge it into one film.

Zombies Meet Blood Sucking Freaks

ere’s an interesting news item Shock Till You Drop discovered in a local New Jersey paper. Graffiti Playhouse Productions held a party for its new zombie movie, Blood Lodge starring Vincent Pastore of “The Sopranos” and actress Jasmin St. Claire.

The film is being co-produced by Blood Sucking Freaks director Joel Reed.

Kevin Orosz, who’s an actor in the film, described it as “Zombieland meets Dazed and Confused mixed with the 1970s grindhouse movies.”

Hatchet 2 DVD and Blu-ray Details

February is shaping-up to be a busy month for horror DVDs and horror fans. Monsters, Let Me In, Virus X and now Hatchet 2 are all releasing on February 1st, followed by Paranormal Activity 2 on Feb. 8. Adam Green’s sequel starring Danielle Harris, Kane Hodder and Tony Todd will be presented in anamorphic 1.78:1 widescreen with Dolby 5.1 sound on the DVD and DTS 5.1 on the Blu-ray. Both discs will include:

NSFW Clip: Mercy Malick Freeway Killer (2010)

I’m not sure if the 2010 direct-to-DVD movie Freeway Killer is any good or not, but Mercy Malick’s nude scene is worth a look. The movie is already available on DVD and is based on the true story of William Bonin, a California serial killer known as the “Freeway Killer.”

Bonin tortured, raped and killed a minimum of 21 boys and young men between 1979 and 1980. He was executed in 1996. This “Freeway Killer” should not be confused with Patrick Kearney, captured 1977, and Randy Steven Kraft, captured 1983.

Horror Yearbook Invades HMF Radio to Sniff Some Taint

Tonight I will be joining HAVOK’s Horror Discussion on HMF Radio to chat with Drew Bolduc and Dan Nelson, directors of the Indie Film The Taint.

A must see for Troma fans, and described as “Henenlotter on speed” by Reign in Blood of HorrorMovieFans.com, The Taint is one of my favorite low budget films of 2010.

The Absent: West Coast Serial Killer Tour

Director Sage Bannick’s new film, The Absent, is set for a West Coast theater tour and VOD release starting January 7, 2011 — followed by a DVD release from Passion River Films on March 15.

The Absent follows Vincent, a high school teacher forced to choose between his career and a love affair with Katie, one of his students. The pressure mounts when his twin brother, Oscar, returns to town after serving 25 years in jail for killing their parents. One by one Katie’s friends disappear, prompting the local Sheriff to target Vincent as the number one suspect.

DVD Update: Paranormal Activity 2

Paranormal Activity 2 DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo releases have been announced for February 8, 2011. Both the DVD and Blu-ray will feature theatrical and unrated cuts of the movie, additional scenes, and the teaser trailer.

R.I.P: 2010 Celebrity Death List

It’s time to honor all of the horror actors, directors and writers who left us this year. If we missed anyone please leave a comment or e-mail us, because the deaths of horror celebrities, authors and porn stars tend to be ignored in the news. Please visit our 2010 Celebrity Death List for a complete list of this year’s dead celebrities. The list should be officially finalized this weekend after the new year.

Bubba Ho-Tep Writer Celebrates Christmas With the Dead

Author Joe R. Lansdale’s new short story “Christmas with the Dead” is making the leap to the big screen this summer. The Bubba Ho-Tep writer will produce the project with Brian James set to direct. Shooting begins this June in Nacogdoches, Texas.

I’m excited about it moving forward and very fortunate to have some fine people at the helm. I’m looking forward to begin filming this summer,” says Landsdale.

ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS!

Right now I’m buried under a foot or two of snow and my Wii broke after I braved the storm to buy $100 worth of games for it. Luckily it’s just having trouble loading games, so I downloaded Zombies Ate My Neighbors, stocked up on Newports and Jim Beam, and now I plan to get high on pain pills and take the day off.

Vote for Best Nude Scene of 2010

It’s time to vote for Horror Yearbook’s Hottest Babe of 2010. This year we’re only considering actresses who appeared nude in a horror film (or TV show). You can vote for one of our five suggestions, or write-in a nominee by selecting “other” and leaving a comment. The winner will be announced during our Year-End Recap in a couple of weeks.

Happy Holidays From Hayden Panettiere’s Cleavage

I know Christmas isn’t until Saturday (and I think Kwanzaa and Chanukah are over), but I’m staring at a huge bottle of X-mas Jim Beam and there is no interesting horror news to write about… So here is our obligatory HAPPY HOLIDAYS post a little early. Instead of posting the same tired list of holiday horror movies (Silent Night, Deadly Night, Black Christmas blah, blah, blah), here is a picture of Hayden Panettiere’s cleavage.

As you all should know by now, Panettiere is starring in the upcoming Scream sequel with Emma Roberts and Rory Culkin. Scream 4 is probably one of the most anticipated horror sequels this new year, and I’m sure we’re going to be hearing a lot about it in 2011.

Red Band Trailer For Black Death

With 2010 being the worst year for horror movies in recent memory, and 2011 not looking much better, at least we have a new Christopher Smith movie to look forward to. You may notice a lot of horror sites beating you over the head with Black Death, that’s because Smith is probably one of the top five modern horror directors. While horror fans have been busy arguing over the merits of Eli Roth and Rob Zombie, Smith has been cranking out must see genre flicks like Creep, Severance and Triangle. His latest film may not be considered a horror film to all, but screw it, it might be the most exciting adventure movie we have to look forward to in 2011.

2011 Horror Movie Schedule

I hope Santa brings me a big jug of Jim Beam for Christmas, and that 2011 is a better year for horror films. The biggest problem is that horror fans don’t get out to see new movies, so we’re stuck with sequels and bad remakes. Hopefully more fans will make an effort to see a few more horror films in theaters next year. Here is the current 2011 horror movie schedule. Dates are subject to change.

Saw 3D Only Coming to Blu-ray

Here’s some bad news for Saw fans who don’t own Blu-ray players; Saw: The Final Chapter is only being released in 3D on Blu-ray. Lionsgate Home Entertainment only plans to release a 2D DVD, 2D Blu-ray/DVD Combo and 3D Blu-ray/2D DVD Combo (around $50) on January 25th. The full details have yet to be confirmed, but some of the special features will include, 2 audio commentaries, 4 music videos, deleted and extended scenes, and a 52 Ways to Die featurette.
