Saw 3D: Jigzilla

What in gay hell is this? I have no words to describe the final Saw 3D poster. Why is Jigsaw a building, and why is he nude?

Saw 3D arrives in theaters everywhere on October 29, 2010.

As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw’s brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror…

Hot Babe of the Week: Emily Tennant

Emily Tennant has had a few small roles on TV shows like Supernatural and Kingdom Hospital, played Young Daphne in Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, and you can see her naked ass in the drama Triple Dog — which also stars Scout Taylor-Compton.

She also seems to be a Diablo Cody favorite appearing in both Juno and Jennifer’s Body.

Chawz: Killer Pig Pic

Horror-Movies.ca posted a great picture of the killer pig from Chawz. The movie doesn’t have a North American release date yet, we will keep you posted.

“In a calm and peaceful mountain village Sameri where there has not been a crime for years, the community’s headman dream about developing the village to bring up the economy of the town. One day a terribly damaged dead body was discovered in the grove of the new development that send the entire town into a panic as it has not happened before. Upon investigation it was confirmed that the victim, a young girl was murdered and attacked by a cannibalistic wild boar. The villages voice for the project to be closed but the headman greedy for money ignores the pleas and pushes the project ahead. Soon CHAW attacks again and terrorizes the entire town and new tourist/visitors.”

Official Trailer For Troll Hunter

HYB message board member SWF has been trying to convince me to watch the teaser trailer (below) for a movie called, The Troll Hunter, for quite some time now. I was a little apprehensive because of its Blair Witch mockumentary look, but a few videos posted on DVD News Flash convinced me otherwise.

Even more convincing is the full non-english trailer that appeared on a Norwegian website today. The Troll Hunter is a faux documentary about a group of students who uncover a government conspiracy regarding the existence of trolls.

Let Me In Nudity Report

b>Let Me In is rated-R for “strong bloody horror violence, language and a brief sexual situation.” According to Mr. Skin, the “brief sexual situation” involves a Sasha Barrese (The Hangover) nude scene.

“(0:13) The boy spies on Sasha Barrese sitting in her apartment in a robe with her boyfriend who comes up behind her and removes part of the robe to unveil her left breast.”

Eli Roth and Christopher Lloyd Honored at 2010 Eyegore Awards (Video)

It’s almost October, the biggest month for horror fans! Not only will there be tons of great stuff on TV and in the movies, but haunted houses have already started opening all over the country. Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights hosted another Eyegore Awards, honoring Eli Roth, Christopher Lloyd, Sid Haig and Saw stars Betsy Russell and Gina Holden.

Check out the video below featuring host Corey Feldman (Feldman looks good) and presenters Rob Zombie and Mariana Klaveno. Does Roth try to kiss Tobe Hooper?

UK Trailer for The Tortured

Is a movie still considered “torture porn” if the parents torture their child’s killer, or is it just “revenge porn?” No matter what dumb label you give it, The Tortured still sounds like a pretty good flick to me. I like it when good people turn vigilante. Doing it by the book is for pussies and Batman only!

Danielle Harris and Thomas Dekker Join Laid to Rest 2

Danielle Harris, Thomas Dekker (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Brian Austin Green, Christopher Nelson, Jennifer Blanc and Michael Biehn are set to star in Laid to Rest 2.

Director Robert Hall hopes to begin shooting this November. “You can’t really make a Laid to Rest movie and not have the best gore effects,” says Hall. “We’re doubling the carnage and doubling the fun. I know we raised the bar on the last one, but people have no idea what’s in store in that department for the sequel—it’s the original and then some. I’m so happy to have such a stellar cast involved, and I think co-producer Kevin Bocarde and I have come up with a cool way to bring Chromey back without going all nutty and breaking our own rules.”

IFC Acquires The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)

IFC Films, announced today that the company has acquired the North American rights to Tom Six’s The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence). The highly anticipated sequel just wrapped shooting in London.

Six is keeping the plot a secret, but did reveal to IFC that it will feature a “huge centipede with 12 people involved.”

Horror Homo Presents… Skull & Bones (2007)

The Horror Homo is back after a sabbatical and move across country, and I’m ready to drudge through the gayest that horror has to offer. In this installment, we will be talking about Skull and Bones. This film has an awesome premise and style, but is totally mudged up by lack of budget and acting ability. On paper, a mix of Herschell Gordon Lewis and John Waters taking on Natural Born Killers sounds mighty awesome, too bad it didn’t work out that way.

Vampire Diaries: Bad Moon Rising

As promised we learn the true nature of the Lockwood family, something even Tyler didn’t know; they’re lycanthropes. It’s kind of funny considering what Damon is and all that he has seen in his undead life that this is something that he just doesn’t seem to be able to wrap his head around. I did think it was a little weird in last week’s episode when this didn’t seem to be a possibility. As a supernatural being who has been in existence for over a century, is it really possible that he never saw a werewolf? The Salvatore brothers were part of one of the founding families in Mystic Falls just as the Lockwoods were, which makes it all the more strange.

Rob Zombie Quits Remakes

Rob Zombie told Deadline that he’s quitting the remake game, and is teaming up with Haunted Films to release The Lords of Salem — a film about 300-year-old witches who haunt the famous town.

“I wanted to break away from anything related to preexisting material. The remake train is getting pretty tired now and when I made Halloween, everybody complained, either that it was too much like the original or too different. I like that people either love or hate what I do because it’s better than being in the middle, which means forgettable. But when you do an original premise, they take it on face value and after three years of not being able to win on Halloween, I just couldn’t go through that again.”

Day of the Triffids 3D

I love John Wyndham’s 1951 novel The Day of the Triffids. It’s one of the better post-apocalyptic books ever written.

Don Murphy and Michael Preger — who brought us the 2009 BBC Triffids series starring Dougray Scott — is working on adapting the novel for the big screen in 3D.

Anchor Bay Films to Release Unrated Remake of I Spit On Your Grave

Is “unrated” becoming the new 3D? A gimmick to get horror fans’ asses into theater seats? Anchor Bay is following in Hatchet II’s footsteps by releasing I Spit on Your Grave unrated in select theaters on October 7, 2010 (still no theater listings).

“We are thrilled to be releasing the unrated, uncensored version of the new I Spit On Your Grave,” says Bill Clark, President of Anchor Bay Entertainment. “Steven R. Monroe has brought his own remarkable vision to this cult classic and we are certain that the unrated cut will, like the original, evoke a visceral reaction from audiences worldwide.”

Arrow Releases Dawn and Day of the Dead Ultimate Edition DVDs

I have a confession, I don’t own Dawn of the Dead or Day of the Dead on DVD. For some reason I have been waiting for a box set that is obviously never going to happen. I’m finally going to give up and buy Arrow Films’ Ultimate Edition. I like their original covers, and that they include all the original art with each DVD.

Arrow originally released these on Blu-ray, but now both movies are available on DVD with all the Blu-ray special features.
