Red Band Trailer For 30 Days of Night: Dark Days

It’s been a year since the Alaskan town of Barrow’s population was decimated by vampires during its annual month long sunset. Riddled with grief over the death of her husband, bound by nightmares and void of all emotions beyond hate and sorrow, Stella has spent the past months traveling the world, trying to convince others that vampires exist.

Met with skepticism and laughter, Stella is ready to throw in the towel when a group of lost souls offers an incredible opportunity: the chance to exact revenge upon Lilith, the vampire queen responsible for the assault on her sleepy Alaskan town. With nothing remaining to live for, and nothing left to fear, Stella joins their mission and ventures into the uncharted underbelly of Los Angeles where she pushes herself to the most extreme limits to stop the evil from striking again.

Jackie Earle Haley Wants Another Shot at Freddy

We already know that Jackie Earle Haley and Rooney Mara have signed on for multiple Elm Street movies. We also know that director Samuel Bayer said he will not return for a sequel. So is there going to be an Elm Street 2. Platinum Dunes is not big on follow-ups. They have made zero sequels to six films (unless you count the Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel).

If Dunes is ready to take the sequel plunge, so is Jackie Earle Haley. While promoting his TV show Human Target at the San Diego Comic Con, Haley told Movieweb that he would love to reprise his role as Freddy Krueger.

True Blood Preview (Season 3, Episode 7)

There is a lot of buzz surronding this season of True Blood, and once again I have no idea what is going on because I don’t have HBO. I haven’t even caught up with season 2 yet.

Below we have three short previews of the newest episode. The first clip is Sam trying to infiltrate a dogfighting ring, the second is about Summer confessing her feelings to Hoyt and the last features Eric and Hadley. The clips don’t seem to contain any spoilers, but once again I’m not 100% sure.

Daniel Radcliffe Says Goodbye to Harry and Hello to Hammer

Daniel Radcliffe chatted with the L.A. Times about leaving the Harry Potter series behind, and moving on to Hammer Films. Radcliffe will star in the ghost movie The Woman in Black.

Elvira Returns To TV

Elvira is making a comeback. Elvira’s Movie Macabre will return to TV sets on September 25 (check your local listings) via THIS! Television.

I have to admit I was a huge fan of her VHS sets when I was a child. Elvira’s Movie Macabre were some of the first videos I rented when video stores originally opened in my town. Palmer video anyone?

Mega Python vs. Gatoroid: Tiffany/Debbie Gibson Catfight Clip

It’s the fight of my dreams Tiffany vs. Debbie Gibson. Check out a behind-the-scenes clip from the SyFy channel’s Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. Featuring acting that would make a any soap opera actress proud. Plus plenty of panty shots. Also don’t miss the trailer for SyFy’s other masterpiece Sharktopus.

Hot Babe of the Week: Kelly Brook (Piranha 3D)

Kelly Brook was one of the sexier chicks that attended this year’s Comic Con (Not the sexiest. That honor probably goes to Vanessa Hudgens). She was there to promote Piranha 3D, one of the better looking horror remakes releasing this year. Check out Blastr.com’s breakdown of all the deaths from the killer fish flick that arrives in theaters on August 20, 2010. Warning this post does contain spoilers.

True Blood: Season 3, Ep 6 I Got a Right to Sing the Blues

This week’s episode of True Blood damn near hits perfection, surprise surprise. We are finally getting closer to the books regarding Bill’s situation. When Bill was a prisoner he had a pretty cushy prison with “warm blood bisque infused with petals and blood gelato”. Bill has now proven himself disloyal to the King and therefore has been sentenced to die. His executioner? Lorena. The two have a past full of passion and violence.

Best SyFy Trailer Ever: Sharktopus

The trailer for Sharktopus was just brought to my attention via our message board. The Roger Corman produced flick will air on the SyFy channel sometime in 2010. You can check the SyFy channel’s schedule for future air times.

I hope the movie lives up to its trailer, because this has to be the best looking SyFy original ever released. And you know if it does well we will be seeing Sharktopus vs. Dinocroc in the near future.

True Blood: San Diego Comic Con Trailer

Producer Alan Ball also dropped a major season finale clue during an interview with EW. You can watch the video here, but be careful of possible spoilers!
