She is a Gossip Girl and she is in Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3-D remake on April 27, 2010. Remember when it seemed like Piranha would be one of the few 3-D movies this year? Jessica Szohr also appeared in House at the End of the Drive directed by David Worth, who also directed the must see Death Game. This is kind of like Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon with hot chicks and no Kevin Bacon… Anyway check out Szohr in a bikini below!

Piranha 3-D’s Jessica Szohr in a Bikini
Published by March 31st, 2010 in Scream Queens/Hot Babes. 1 CommentFreddy, Jason, Chucky and Ghostface are all headed to Burger King! Nightmareonelmstreetmovie.com nabbed these great pictures of the horror icons visiting the fast food chain as part of a new ad campaign.
“Burger King is starting the whole “Open Late” concept in their restaurants very soon and they’re using horror icons to promote it! Dubai-based ad agency Tonic was asked to help make an ad campaign and there answer was simple: Killers got to eat. And since they do their stalking in the evening, no brainer. Below you will find Freddy in the drive thru.”

It Came From The Mailbox: SLIME CITY MASSACRE!!!
Published by March 30th, 2010 in It Came From the Mailbox, MOVIE REVIEWS (ALL) and Movie Reviews NEW (2000 & Up). 2 Comments“Slime flies when you’re having fun!” It’s hard to believe it’s been 22 long years since Greg Lamberson first unleashed the 80′s splatter classic SLIME CITY upon the world. Around this time last year, the word began circulating that Greg was preparing the long awaited sequel. The now completed film is titled SLIME CITY MASSACRE, and I was lucky enough to recently find a screener copy in my mailbox. In the coming months, SCM will be making the rounds at horror conventions and screenings across the country. As the film has yet to see a wide release, I will keep this review brief and try a bit harder than normal to avoid any spoilers.
The Vampire Diaries: The Return: Shadow Souls
Published by March 30th, 2010 in Horror BOOKS. 6 CommentsL.J. Smith certainly has gone a different direction with “The Return”, the sub-series of the Vampire Diaries. Shadow Souls marks the second book and most recent addition to the Vampire Diaries. That being said the bulk of it doesn’t really feel like aVampire Diaries book. We are only very briefly in the supernatural magnet small town of Fells Church, Virginia. At least for the first 200 pages very few of our characters are together, in the same place at the same time. The vampire element isn’t nearly as central as it has been in the past. It mostly lies in Damon and Elena’s undeniable attraction that she at long last gives in to.
Movie Review: Survival of the Dead
Published by March 29th, 2010 in MOVIE REVIEWS (ALL) and Movie Reviews NEW (2000 & Up). 40 CommentsAfter 2007’s horrendous POV film Diary of the Dead, you’d think that George A. Romero couldn’t do anything more to tarnish his legend as father and master of the zombie flick. After watching the lifeless mass that is Survival of the Dead you’d be wrong. Undead wrong…
After Diary and 2005’s laughably pretentious Land of the Dead (starring Simon Baker no less because everyone else was smart enough to say no) George Romero has officially George Lucas’d his own zombie franchise and he has nobody to blame but himself. The cure for something like that is simply to make a good movie, but odds are that that’s not going to happen anytime soon. As I tried to stay awake through Survival, I felt sad more than anything else watching Romero make a copy of a copy of a copy of his own stuff, yet saying nothing at all that couldn’t be conveyed by watching his classics Night of the Living Dead and the Dawn of the Dead. Even Day of the Dead has its moments while Survival has nothing but extras from old Irish Spring commercials.
Vampire Diaries: Episode 15, A Few Good Men
Published by March 26th, 2010 in HORROR ON THE TUBE - TV. 0 CommentsVampire Diaries at last makes its return from its second extended hiatus. A Few Good Men shows the aftermath of Damon’s master plan. He has spent the last century searching for someone who couldn’t have cared less about him. With this newfound knowledge he claims he is a free agent with no master plan and nothing to worry about. Damon drowns his sorrows in alcohol and college girl blood donors, while still coming on to Elena as strong as ever. She feels sorry for him, having his heart broken and entire purpose and drive taken away, no matter how evil natured actions and betrayals it might have led him to commit. Damon is about to go too far though, unknowingly mocking Elena’s personal trauma from her past.
Is Moronic Mark crazy? Well he does have the adjective “Moronic” in front of his first name. But in all fairness, It’s the Devil’s Puppet’s fault because he makes Mark watch and review the cheesey, generic, and done more times that a gang bang record holder’s vagina serial killer/ cop plotline movie called END GAME starring Kurt Angle (gold medalist wrestler and 13 time professional champ). It’s still better than THE MARINE and it’s worth a check out for extremely diehard Angle fans (which Mark is, but Kurt still kicks his ass).

Freddy Krueger Invades MTV
Published by March 24th, 2010 in Horror MOVIE TRAILERS/VIDEOS and NEWS. 0 CommentsDid Platinum Dunes actually do something cool? Not really, but it is kinda fun to see Freddy Krueger screwing with MTV again. It at least brings back some memories — like this 1987 promo featuring Krueger and Dokken. Even though I’m very happy Dunes decided to go with a joke free Freddy, it would still be cool to see him hosting Headbangers Ball or the 16 and Pregnant reunion show… Or something out of the Platinum Dunes norm. Will horror movies ever be fun again? Not if Platinum Dunes keeps making them.
Hot Babe of the Week: Audrina Patridge
Published by March 23rd, 2010 in Hot Babe of the Week. 1 CommentWelcome to our new weekly column Hot Babe of the Week! I had planned to make the lamp from Amityville: The Evil Escapes our first honoree, but changed my mind because I didn’t want to blow our load early. The honor of being our first Hot Babe of the Week goes to Audrina Patridge’s Breasts. Why? Because I already had these pictures of her saved on my computer (don’t ask) and she was in Sorority Row.
