Universal Pictures has moved the release date of Joe Johnston’s THE WOLFMAN to February 12, 2010. This is the latest in a string of delays that have cursed this picture. THE WOLFMAN was originally scheduled for release on February 13, 2009 and was then moved to April 3, 2009. The powers that be at Universal then moved the release all the way to November 6, 2009.
This third delay pushes the much anticipated remake of the 1941 horror classic of the same name into a 2010 release. The cast and crew have been keeping busy with reshoots that reportedly change the werewolf from standing on two legs to hunching down on all fours.

The Twilight franchise has already gone through three different director changes, and now Rachelle Lefevre will not be returning for the third film, Eclipse, due to a “scheduling conflict.” Lafevre who plays “Victoria” is being replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard aka Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3.
David Slade is set to direct Eclipse that will be in theaters in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

It seems lately the subject of ghost month, the month on the Chinese calendar when spirits and ghosts are believed to come back to our realm, seems to be gaining popularity at least in American horror cinema. Many people in the Chinese culture believes in ghosts coming back throughout this month, which can add a bit of realism in a deadly situation made scarier since within the culture it could be a very real possibility. Perhaps this concept would have been best fit as a Chinese film rather than an American one since this realism would connect with a Chinese audience more. Writer/Director, Danny Draven adapts in sharing some of the insight and rules behind ghost month. Since our main character is American, we are able to see things through her eyes as an outsider to this culture and the principles of ghost month.

Just in time for the forth Final Destination’s release in August, some sneaky paparazzi snapped a few Ali Larter butt-shots that you can check out below. I’m not sure if she was 100% pantyless or wearing thong, but either way it’s an interesting upskirt shot.
Larter has appeared in the remake of House on Haunted Hill, Final Destination 1 & 2 and Resident Evil: Extinction. Final Destination 4 goes head-to-head with Rob Zombie’s Halloween II in theaters on August 28, 2009.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment will open the gates of hell on October 6th and unleash a “Monstrous Special Edition” of the 1987 cult classic THE GATE on DVD. The long awaited special edition disc will include a commentary track with director Tibor Takacs, interviews with the cast and crew, a stills gallery, and the original trailer.
The 1987 film was the screen debut of Stephen Dorff (Blade), who plays a boy who accidentally opens a gate to hell in his backyard, releasing a horde of cool looking claymation demons. The Gate has a well deserved reputation for being one of the most creepy horror flicks to have a pg-13 rating, and this dvd will make a nice addition to your Halloween viewing schedule.
Orphan is unlike any of the Creepy Kid movies you’ve been inundated with over the years…
Actually, it’s a lot like the Creepy Kid movies you know backwards and forwards, except Orphan’s much, much better. Yes, the trailer feels overly familiar, and to an extent the movie is, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t have good gory fun with it.
There’s something wrong with Esther- That’s putting it mildly
You’ll never guess her secret- You might, but I didn’t, and nothing about it is a cheat. It’s one of those reveals where you watch the movie a second time or play it back in your head in a whole new light and you realize Esther’s more fucked up that you initially thought
