Kelly Brook Piranha 3D Pictures

We got a bunch of Kelly Brook pictures for you. First are a few of the actress on the set of Piranha 3-D and the rest are from her latest spread in Nuts Magazine.

Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3-D hits theaters March 19, 2010 and also stars the great Elisabeth Shue, My Secret Identity’s Jerry O’Connell, Dina Meyer of the Saw series and Ving Rhames.

“In Lake Victoria Arizona, a tremor causes the lake’s floor to open, setting free scores of prehistoric piranhas… Theyre back! Every year the population of sleepy Lake Victoria explodes from 5,000 to 50,000 for a single, wild weekend – the 4th of July, a riot of sun, drunken fun and sex-crazed mayhem. But this year, there’s something more to worry about than hangovers and complaints from local old timers. Lake Victoria sits in the crater formed by a prehistoric volcanic eruption, and when earth tremors tear open a crack in the lake floor, all hell breaks through. Piranhas – a million ravenous, razor-toothed monsters, unchanged since the dawn of time. Unstoppable killing machines acting blindly under one primeval impulse: to hunt down anything that moves and strip it to the raw, bleeding bone. In seconds.”

Alien Prequel Confirmed

Collider caught up with Tony Scott who confirmed the Alien rumor. The good news is he called it a “prequel” not a remake.

The director told the site, “Yes, Carl Rinsch is going to do the prequel to Alien. He’s one of our directors at our company.”

He also said he hoped to start filming by the end of the year, but did not confirm a target release date.

So are you the fans happy with an Alien prequel or do you think it was just Scott’s way of dodging the remake backlash? Let us know your thoughts and we will keep you updated.

Flicker Trailer

Here is a strange trailer for a movie called Flicker I found on Trailer Addict. I don’t know what the deal is with the fat chick on the poster, but the trailer is worth watching and the tagline is great!

“Keep your friends close and your enemy’s shovel.”

“Pretty and Jack wake up in the middle of the night to discover that their friends are missing. A bloody tent, homicidal cops, creepy locals and brutal elements create the world that Pretty must escape.”

I hope “Pretty” is not the chick on the poster because that would be like giving a black person the last name “White.”

First New Moon Scene (Video)

So tomorrow (5-31-09) MTV will premiere the first look at the trailer for the Twilight sequel New Moon, but ET has a 15 second clip (see below) of what you’ll see on the MTV Movie Awards!

Yeah a sneak peak of a sneak peak. Kinda silly if you ask me. I’m not quite sure when the trailer will be available online, but you can bet I will have it up as soon as it is available. If anyone knows where it is going to debut, can you please tell us below?

Eli Roth Reveals More About His Next Two Films

We told you back in April that Eli Roth was planning on making two films back-to-back; one being a Sci-Fi monster movie and the other being his eagerly awaited Thanksgiving slasher film.

While promoting Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds in Cannes, Roth revealed a little more about both of the films including the title for his Sci-Fi flick, Endangered Species.

Horror Hack of the Week: 3D

I have been trying to write a Horror Hack of the Week about 3D for a week now, but I just can’t get it right. In short I’m already tired of the 3D trend. What is the point of selling a movie based on a gimmick, if most of us can’t see the gimmick or have to jump through hoops to see it? Not to mention I keep reading that My Bloody Valentine 3D gives some people who watch it on DVD headaches. 3D, while sometimes fun, has never really been satisfying, and I just wish studios went back to trying to find and deliver good horror movies, instead of remakes and cheap gimmicks. What is next large joy buzzers under our seats or life insurance policies handed out with out tickets?

2009 has been a bad year for horror with almost everything being a remake, and I really hope that 2011 isn’t full of nothing but 3D remakes.

So 3D you are officially a Horror Hack and should be retired!

The Brain Hammer review of DRAG ME TO HELL!

An cute and ambitious loan officer named Christine Brown (Alison Lohman)decides to show her boss that she can handle tough decisions by refusing to give an old woman a third extension on her overdue mortgage payments. This decision causes a chain event of terror when the hacking old hag stops begging for mercy and turns vengeful and violent. The deranged old woman later ambushes and attacks Christine in the parking lot before finally subduing her long enough to place a deadly gypsy curse on her.

Drag Me To Hell (Update)

It’s Friday and I’m currently in one of the worst cities in America, Philadelphia. This means I have to risk my life to see Sam Raimi’s Drag Me To Hell at the movie theater that someone got shot in for talking during Benjamin Button. If I survive we will have Brain Hammer’s review up later today, and our new Horror Hack of the Week.

Don’t forget to enter our Drag Me To Hell contest that I’m keeping open for a little longer today, and we also have a contest for Luke Perry’s Silent Venom. Review coming soon…

Wish me luck!

Behind the Scenes Halloween 2 Video

Dimension released a behind-the-scenes video of Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2 on Youtube that you can watch below. You can also visit the official Dimension Horror channel and subscribe to their videos for more updates. While you’re there don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel that is also updated with the latest horror trailers, clips and videos.

Also in other funny H2 news; if you visit the movie’s IMDB synopsis page, instead of a description of the film, their is a petition to get the movie stopped from being made. Here is my favorite part:

The Twilight Saga: New Moon Trailer News

I have no idea what Summit has planned for Twilight fans to do while they countdown the days until New Moon’s release on November 20th. They already released the official poster, website and now I read that the trailer is only a few days away? I’m assuming this will only be a teaser trailer, but you think the studio would tease the fans a little more, giving them something to look forward to. One can only hope that they have lots of other stuff planned for the upcoming months ahead.

Before I tell you the date and time that the trailer is supposed to premiere on the internet, lets first say happy belated birthday to Justin Chon, who turned 28 the other day (read here). Then let me remind you that my source is normally accurate, but I have heard no official word on this date and time myself.

Final Destination 4 Poster

I don’t think anyone is too sure about the official release date for Final Destination or “The Final Destination,” but everywhere I look it is still listed as August 28 — the same day as Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2. I hope it stays that way because I would like to see that battle at the box office.

The fourth Final Destination involves a car race and a multiple race car accident, if you saw the first three then you know the rest. Check out the new poster below and get set for the final(?) installment of one of the better slasher franchises in the last few years…

New Pandorum Trailer

Since we are already talking Alien remake, how about a Resident Evil Reboot? Well kind of!

From the creators Resident Evil franchise comes Pandorum, “a terrifying thriller in which two crew members wake up on an abandoned spacecraft with no idea who they are, how long they’ve been asleep, or what their mission is. The two soon discover they’re actually not alone — and the reality of their situation is more horrifying than they could have imagined.”

Alien Remake!?!

According to Bloody Disgusting 20th Century Fox is not only planning on rebooting their Predator franchise but now has Alien lined up for the remake chopping block.

“Michael Costigan, Ridley Scott and even Tony Scott are all on board to produce [the Alien reboot] and have tapped Carl Rinsch to get beyond the camera and bring a new Ripley to the big screen. Who is Carl Rinsch? I’m being told he’s a commercial/music video director and does work for Scott Free Productions, who is also producing the remake.”

John Lithgow Joins Dexter for Season 4

How is this for terrifying? I think I saw John Lithgow (or someone who looked like him) in a sex scene once when I was a child! I’m not sure what movie it was, but it scarred me for life. He was also creepy in that Raising Cain movie and Dr. Giggles, and now that I think about it, he should star in more horror films. So it is probably a good thing that he is joining Showtime’s serial killer series Dexter.

Freddy Krueger in a Brown Shirt?

JoBlo.com published a few pictures of Jackie Earle Haley sans makeup and in a brown striped shirt on the set of A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010. In what looks like to be a flashback scene, the pre-burned Krueger is seen stalking a playground, but without his trademark sweater. Lets be honest he couldn’t wear that awful looking thing 24/7 now could he? It just screams creepy pedophile as if the hat wasn’t bad enough already! There are also a few shots of the exterior and interior of “Badham pre-school,” that I am assuming is Krueger’s hunting grounds. You can check out all the pictures here and let us know what you think of the new Freddy! Samuel Bayer’s A Nightmare on Elm Street re-raping hits theaters April 16, 2010.
