I feel an awful cold coming on and Horror Yearbook may be out of commission tomorrow, so I wanted to wish all our readers a Happy New Year now. I bet you thought I would publish a picture from New Year’s Evil! Well you thought wrong!

Here is a movie I have not heard about, Text, directed by Brian McCulley — starring; Hanna Hall, some-other-people-I-don’t-know, and Reggie Bannister.
When I worked in the porn industry many years ago there used to be this popular series called Big Black Monster Dicks Little White Chicks. They were produced by Jake Steed, who I believe eventually went to jail for dealing drugs or something like that… Anyway when I saw DVD art for Roger Corman’s Attack of the Giant Leeches it immediately reminded me of Steed’s films. Maybe they got the same design team? Or am I just demented in the head?
Here is a clip from My Bloody Valentine 3D. It is the same scene from the trailer where he throws his pickax, just a little longer. Warning you may have to watch a Hilary Duff commercial first.
Here is the trailer for Voices.
Here is something new and different than me covering Twilight news, Monica Bellucci Topless! I, however, have the feeling that Robert Pattinson is somehow going to find his way into this post, he is like the new Kevin Bacon. Oh here we go, he was voted the sexiest male movie vampire by Moviefone, and what does thi have to do with Monica? She is number 5 on their list for sexiest female vampires, see how that shit works? You just can’t escape Pattinson he is everywhere.
This is old news that I tripped over today, but I missed it way back in November, not to mention it is a very slow news day (unless you want to look at the lame Unborn “viral” video everybody is posting) so what the hell…

It has been an insane two years at Horror Yearbook and we are looking forward to many more without slowing down anytime soon. This little drunken Blog has grown phenomenally and it is all due to the wonderful support we have received from the horror community. I would like to thank all our supporters, and promise that we will continue to work towards becoming the biggest horror source on the Internet, while supporting the littler sites, filmmakers and fans. We wish you a happy New Year, and hope 2009 will be a great year in horror. In celebration of our success here is the video for Rock -N- Roll in My Butthole, the new Horror Yearbook anthem.
Here is the paperback art for Greg Lamberson’s book Personal Demons, a book that has made the rounds at Horror Yearbook’s office but we never officially reviewed because we’re lazy.
Here are the “working plot details” for Universal Pictures and Strike Entertainment’s so-called The Thing prequel posted by Bloody Disgusting on Christmas Eve.
After a three month sabatical (aka host killing himself by having his dog run his head with his own car twice), the producers of “Satan’s Screener”, The Devil’s Puppet, are searching for a new poor soul to watch and review the worst movies ever made. He recruits Richard Roundtree, The Iron Sheik, Lee Majors, Todd “Piece of” Sheets, and others with mixed results.
What is the most famous celebrity haircut? Britney Spears’ American History X mental breakdown? Keri Russells career ending cut? Nope it is probably Robert Pattinson cutting off his dreamy hair. Fans are flipping out over the Twilight stars new Marine-style crew cut.
