Derek Mears to Play Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13 Remake

Bloody-Disgusting has learned that Derek Mears from The Hills Have Eyes 2, is about to finalize the deal to make him the NEW Jason Voorhees in Platinum Rip-Offs remake of the classic slasher film Friday the 13th. I repeat Bloody-Disgusting broke the story, I just want to make that clear because if I don’t they will whine worst than my bitchy ex-girlfriend.

The remake is set for February 13, 2009, directed by Marcus Nispel, and written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.

Lindsay Lohan a Manson Girl

I love horror movies and I love pop culture, that is the reason why I own and operate a horror website and a pop culture website, so it is always exciting to me when the two crossover and even more exciting when it involves Lindsay Lohan.

Meathaus S.O.S. Trade Paperback Review

Variety is the spice of life, and lucky for me, I love the spicy stuff. General Tso Chicken, Pace Picante Sauce, Wasabi Almonds, and Buffalo Wings. (With the chicken, Jessica.) So when it comes to movies, field trips, dates, and of course, food, the wider the scope, the more fun I’ll have. That definitely goes for books as some of my favorites are collections of short stories from the likes of horror masters Clive Barker, Steve Niles, and Stephen King. So when I came across Nerdcore’s comics anthology, Meathaus: S.O.S, I welcomed the many different and stylish yarns with invited hands, even though most of it wasn’t horror-related.

Magus (2008) Movie Review

In the world of magic just like in the real world, there is good and bad, also known as white and dark magic. Dark magic emerges from those who aren’t satisfied with the abilities and powers that they have. They become greedy and want more until they control over every single person. When someone gets to this dangerous state of magic it is known as the magus, which is what the film, The Magus speaks to and tries bring it out in a horrific way. There is a very small resemblance of this, but it is unfortunately not a success. The film as a whole isn’t quite a miserable failure either, it is merely okay and doesn’t leave much of an impression on you.

Robin Sydney So Naked in Jack Ketchum’s The Lost

She may need an education on how to play sexy and director Chris Sivertson may have not been the man to teach her, but Robin Sydney looks so great naked who really cares. You may have seen her in Charles Bands’ Killer Bong, or The Master of Horrors Episode: Right to Die, but Sydney looked extra smoking naked in Jack Ketchum’s The Lost.
