I love the days when big horror news is slow. Even though I’m excited about “Grindhouse,” “Hostel 2,” and Rob Zombie’s “Halloween,” it’s nice to talk about something else once and a while! Slow news days allow me to dig around and find crap like this - The Trailer to “Evil Ever After!” This movie has everything you could possibly need, boobs, fat drag queens, midgets, death, rape, cannibalism and more. Directed by Brad Paulson (The Van) just listen to this cast; Joe Bob Briggs, Joe Estevez, Lloyd Kaufman, Brinke Stevens, Julie Strain and many more. For entire cast check out IMDB.com

Trailer - ‘Evil Ever After’

Published by December 31st, 2006 in MOVIE REVIEWS (ALL), Movie Reviews NEW (2000 & Up) and Tyler Shainline Archives. 0 CommentsWith slickly produced bloated garbage (”See No Evil”, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning”) and lame duck Japanese remakes (”Pulse, The Grudge 2″) clogging the intestines of horror fans this year, “Salvage” comes along and cleans up 2006 like a much-needed cinematic enema. Using a budget under $25,000, the “Salvage” writing and directing team of Joshua and Jeffery Cook do something filmmakers with a hundred times their budget seem incapable of: They made a creepy, atmospheric, and all-around great fright flick, which may just end up being the best American horror film you’ll see this year.
‘Night of the Comet’ on DVD.
Having sworn off film forever — one way of avoiding the financial hassles that surrounded the production and release of MULHOLLAND DR. — director David Lynch shot this typically noirish, three-hour magnum opus on consumer-grade digital video.

It’s Just a Slasher Film ‘Black Christmas’ (2006)
Published by December 28th, 2006 in MOVIE REVIEWS (ALL) and Movie Reviews NEW (2000 & Up). 0 CommentsLike any great horror film involving a sorority house, “Christmas” is full of hot sorority babes who are ready to die, and this is an all star cast of new babes; Michelle (Buffy the Vampire Slayers sister Dawn who does not get naked by the way) Trachtenberg, Mary Elizabeth (Final Destination 3) Winstead, Lacey (Mean Girls, Party of 5) Chabert, Katie Cassidy, and if old babes is your thing, Andrea Martin
A Whole Week of ‘The Apple’
Published by December 27th, 2006 in Horror MOVIE TRAILERS/VIDEOS. 0 CommentsI had plans to do a whole week if not more dedicated to the wonderful, and one of my favorite films, “The Apple.” I lined up interviews with Ray Shell, & George S. Clinton from the movie, and planned to have a bunch of clips and reviews of the film, but of course as usual I’m on my own (this is the part you’re suppose to feel sorry for me). I’m still going to try and get those interviews out,but until then watch the singing vampire!
It’s bittersweet, because I’m sick of remakes so I rather them do poorly at the box office, but if we’re stuck with them I rather the better of the remakes to do well. I liked “Black Christmas” it was a fun, cheap-thrills, slasher film with great kills and hot, young chicks. So I like to see this one make some money.

S.O.T. (Save Our Troma) Lloyd Kaufman Talks To Molly Celaschi
Published by December 25th, 2006 in INTERVIEWS and Molly Celaschi's Archives. 0 Comments“I wanted to be a social worker and make the world a better place. I started to go see movies and I caught the virus.… The point is I realized that I didn’t want to just teach the people with hooks for hands; I wanted to film them. And I wanted to film the bums painting happy faces on beads and stringing them together.” – Lloyd Kaufman
Movie Review - Island of Death (Unrated Collectors Edition 2003)
Published by December 23rd, 2006 in MOVIE REVIEWS (ALL), Molly Celaschi's Archives and Movie Reviews NEW (2000 & Up). 0 CommentsChris is a psychopath. He has violent urges, paranoid delusions, and is a compulsive liar. His first crime is to rape a goat, then kill it as if to kill his urge and erase him crime. He also concocts reasons for every one of his crimes such as someone being a whore, homosexual, bitch, but his favorite is “pervert”.
