Here it is… The first trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Directed by David Slade and starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. Twilight mania returns on June 30, 2010 when Bella must choose between mortality or immortality, Edward or Jacob…blah, blah, you know the story. Check out the trailer below.

The full trailer is set to hit the Web at 9 a.m. Friday. Twilight mania returns on June 30, 2010 when Eclipse hits theaters everywhere.

My favorite thing about Eli Roth is that horror fans are jealous of him. He’s not an overweight loser in a trench coat, or someone who always dresses in black and has bad tattoos — basically he doesn’t look like your typical horror fan. He also gets to do cool things like go to the Oscars with Quentin Tarantino and appear on Chelsea Lately. All things horror directors don’t normally get to do. And for some reason these things make a lot horror fans green with envy.
But why is he holding hands with Peaches Geldof at the Oscars!?! Gross! What was Eli thinking! I hoped he washed his hands afterwards.
If you do not know who Peaches Geldof is, Dlisted, the website where I stole these pictures from, says “just stick your finger up your b-hole, pull it out, smell it, and that pretty much sums her up.”

Now that the boring Oscars are over, we can move on to more important things like Autumn Reeser’s new film with Antonio Banderas and Snoop Dogg. The Big Bang stars Banderas as an L.A. private detective who’s hired to find a missing stripper. The trail leads to the New Mexico desert, where the private eye finds a trail of bodies and contends with a brutal Russian boxer, three LAPD detectives and an aging billionaire looking to perfect the nuclear physics equivalent of the Big Bang.

In an effort to age down its audience the 82nd edition of the Oscars loaded up with teen presenters, and featured tributes to John Hughes and the horror genre.
The kids from Twilight, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, introduced a short video featuring clips from various horror films including: The Shining, Jaws, The Exorcist, Psycho, Nightmare on Elm Street, Child’s Play, Scream, Saw, Interview With the Vampire, The Birds, The Ring, Hellraiser, The Leprechaun and The Blair Witch Project. The segment ended with Carrie drenched in blood and a quick shot of Quentin Tarantino sitting in the audience.

I have no idea, but if you can’t get enough of the new zombie sub-genre, the Chicken Dead, then today is your lucky day.
Zombeak (official website) is hatching on DVD in the UK on March, 1, 2010. (I’m not sure about a US release date yet.)

According to The Sun Twilight star Robert Pattinson admitted that he is indeed dating co-star Kristen Stewart at Sunday’s BAFTAs.
“Brit actor Robert carried on with the secrecy at Sunday’s Bafta bash – then admitted they were a couple at the post-do dinner.”
“We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”

It has been a looong time since I’ve updated our Twilight blog, and I figured that posting a picture of Robert Pattinson’s new greasy hairdo at the BAFTAs in London last night, is a great way to get it rolling again. Their was an uproar from fans and the studio the last time Pattinson cut his hair… So I wonder what the reaction will be like this time!

I’m not sure if 90210’s AnnaLynne McCord’s outfit, at a special screening of Shutter Island, was inspired by the Matrix or Hellraiser, but her cleavage looks good! I guess she does look more Matrix than Hellraiser, but this is a horror website so… We will just say it is modern-cenobite!

Showtime announced via their Twitter page that Dexter: Season 4 will be making its way to DVD
and Blu-ray
sometime in August.
There is no official release date yet, but for those of you who need to catch up, Season 5 will not air until this Fall… So you should be in good shape.

is available today, the only problem… It is only available on Blu-ray.

I’m going to fart on the face of the next person who tells me “You need to watch Fringe.” There are a lot of movies and TV shows “I need to watch,” I just don’t have the time. However, I have plenty of time to look at Anna Torv topless in Esquire magazine… It is actually what I get paid to do!
There isn’t much else to say about Torv, since all she really does is play FBI agent Olivia Dunham on the TV show… You can catch Fringe on Fox.

Prison Break’s Frank Grillo has joined Luke Mably, Janina Gavankar and Chandra West for ABC’s new supernatural/crime Drama, The Gates.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show revolves around a big-city cop – played by Grillo – who discovers that there is something darker going on with the residents. Richard Hatem of Supernatural and Grant Scharbo serve as writers.
The Gates starts shooting in late March in Louisiana and is slated to make its debut this summer.
