The NY Daily News says that Winona Ryder “has tried to stay out of the limelight following her 2002 felony conviction for stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Beverly Hills’ Saks Fifth Avenue.” However, she is in five upcoming films, including J.J. Abrams Star Trek, how is that staying “out of the limelight?” Not to mention she forced British Airways into a emergency landing when she suffered a “mystery illness” while flying from LAX. Not very low-key if you ask me.

Anyway the Beetle Juice star is fine. Her publicist Mara Buxbaum told the Associated Press, “[Winona's] fine now,” (see?) but she didn’t reveal what the mystery illness was. I, for one am glad she is alive and well, because now maybe she will be able to reprise her role in Aliens vs Predator like Lance Henriksen did. Okay I have no idea if that even makee sense…

You may remember that we reported that Swamp Thing star Heather Locklear was arrested for suspicion of a DUI. You may also remember that our sista site 2Snaps.tv reported that she was setup by a “disgruntled Us Weekly employee”. Well now The L.A. Times reports that she “was charged today with misdemeanor driving under the influence of legally prescribed drugs, stemming from her arrest two months ago in Santa Barbara County.”

Santa Barbara County Deputy Dist. Atty. Lee Carter said: “There was no alcohol and no illegal narcotics in her system, only prescription medications.”

Locklear brought me countless joy as Amanda on Melrose Place and starred in Jim Wynorski’s 1989 The Return of Swamp Thing, so I hope she gets off easy because she deserves it.

“Online ticketers Fandango and MovieTickets said Monday that the Summit Entertainment film has sold out hundreds of performances four days before its Friday opening in about 3,400 locations. Fandango has sold out almost 700 shows — including 500 or so midnight Thursday screenings — and MovieTickets counted more than 400 sellouts of various showtimes. ‘Twilight’ accounted for more than 85% of presales in recent days, the ticketers said.”

Is there even any other movies opening this week? Yes, Bolt a kids animated comedy, what a stupid move by Disneyfor going up against this. However, it is not as stupid as the big Hollywood movie studios that passed on Twilight, including Paramount and Fox Atomic. Read how they lost out here.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Melissa Rosenberg will adapt New Moon and Eclipse, but no word on a writer for Breaking Dawn (why not just have her do all three?). Ticket pre-sales for the first film are already through the roof, and the soundtrack already hit number one on the Billboard charts.

Calling all underage goth girls, Marilyn Manson is single again! Star magazine reports that Manson’s girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood left him after he tried to kick her brother out of her guest house.

A source told the magazine that she dumped her live-in-bf on Oct. 23

The source said: “Evan owned the house and didn’t want her unemployed sibling living on the street. It was the tipping point. Evan was fed up with how controlling and emotionally abusive Marilyn was.”

OMG Joss Whedon lied to us, Willow is NOT gay! Just kidding and I know — lame joke, but People.com reported this morning that Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Alyson Hannigan is pregnant. Alyson, 34, and husband Alexis Denisof, 42, announced that they are expecting their first child this spring.

Hannigan currently stars as Lily Aldrin on the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Something you may not know about her is; she also appeared in the 1988 film My Stepmother Is an Alien with Seth Green, who played her boyfriend on Buffy many years later.

It is also hard to believe she is 34, but good for her husband whose sperm is still potent at 42. Congratulations to the couple.

Synopsis:

So does this mean Duchovny gets to fall off the “sex rehab wagon?” I mean a sex addiction is only a problem if you’re married or in a serious relationship, otherwise it’s just being a bachelor. However, there are young children involved, the couple have two kids together, daughter Madelaine, 9, and son Kyd, 6, and you probably don’t want your children to know you are a pervert. So maybe he will try and keep in his pants for their sake.

Newcomer Mia Wasikowska as Alice… and now Anne Hathaway joins Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland as the White Queen reports MTV.com.

What I didn’t know about Burton’s version is that its supposed to be in 3D. I’m all about 3D films but Burton resorting to cheap gimmicks sounds strange to me. Who knows, maybe it has always been his dream to shoot something in 3D, and this was his chance.

Burton’s take on Lewis Carroll’s novel is slated for release in March 2010.

Duchovny plays Hank Moody a writer trying to juggle his career, his relationship with his daughter and his ex-girlfriend, while he battles his appetite for beautiful women on the TV show Californication.

He should also be currently shooting The Joneses with Demi Moore.

David’s attorney, Stanton “Larry” Stein said in a statement “Duchovny has successfully completed rehabilitation. He is out and will very soon begin work on his new movie.” So filming on The Joneses should start sometime this month as I earlier suggested. I’m so smart!
