The movie begins with a hot chick (Kim Poirier of Decoys 1 & 2, Dawn of the Dead remake) in a dressing room, trying on clothes.. she gets naked but it doesn’t show her tits! What the fuck? Hmmm.. hang on, a quick google “Kim Poirier naked” search shows her naked in the scene. Cocksucking Netflix and their rated R version!
Anyway though, storywise it’s about a “rogue colony” of rats that have gotten ballsy and swarms of them go around attacking people. They start of in a fancy department store, when a custumor gets bitten (Kim Poirier) the assistant manager (Mädchen Amick) tries to cover it up and calls in a discrete exterminator (Vincent Spano). By then though the rats have begun to wage war. Oh and they’re carrying some nasty disease too.
Turns out some scientist had been testing some shit on lab rats that turned em mean and strong. Since the Health Department won’t take action it’s up to Mädchen Amick and Spano to kill them all.
Some of the scene transitions were a bit rough, but who cares. It was nice to see Mädchen Amick (Shelly from Twin Peaks) is still lookin hot after all these years. She’d put on some weight at the end of the 90s. All the rat attack scenes were hilarious, especially The Jaws-esque rats in the pool one. Such a fun flick it switched me right into drinkin mode.

Amityville 2: The Possession was one of those rare sequels that may have trumped the original. A prequel to the original story, part 2 follows the Montelli family who lived in the house before the Lutz family did. The oldest son gets possessed and bangs his sister (amongst other things but we are concentrating on the incest part here), Patricia Montelli (Diane Franklin).

In 1974 Lina Romay started her career with Rites of Frankenstein, and appeared in her last movie Angel of Death 2 in 2007. In between she gave us sex and vampires in 1973’s Female Vampire, went to South America in Ilsa The Wicked Warden, appeared with Klaus Kinski in the excellent 1976 Jack the Ripper, and was directed by Jess Franco in Tender Flesh in 1997.
If you were a fan of Return of the Living Dead III or not, one thing that can’t be argued is that Melinda Clarke is hot. Best known as the female-punk-rock-zombie from Return, Clarke also appeared in Spawn, Xena, was naked in Return to Two Moon Junction and had a long career of TV before disappearing. She may not have a long list of horror movie credits, but became a horror icon with one very important role. Now this is why Scream Queens used to be great. They were basically porn stars who also appeared in a bunch of great and not-so-great horror movies. First Monique Gabrielle was a Jim Wynorski regular appearing in The Return of Swamp Thing (1989), Transylvania Twist (1990) and Hard to Die (1990). She also starred in Fred Olen Ray’s Evil Toons, Munchie, 976-Evil II and of course many more.
