We have a policy here at Horror Yearbook not to post any pictures from a new movie unless those pictures are actually interesting. I have said this before but websites like Bloody Disgusting would post pictures of paint drying on the set of a new film if you let them. With that said, Fangoria did get a first look a three not-so-exciting pictures of Angela Bettis’ new movie “Scar,” which you can see HERE.
The interesting thing about it is “Scar” is a 3-D slasher movie from Canada. Angela plays as a young woman who managed to escape the clutches of a serial killer after he abducted her and her friend. When she returns to her home town another round of slayings begin.
I normally like 3-D movies and one time had to drag my Nephew, who was getting to old, to see “Spy Kids 3-D” so I could have an excuse to go, and not look like some creepy pedophile sitting in the theater by myself. The thing is this movie sounds good enough not to need a gimmick and it stars the best new scream queen of our time, Angela Bettis. So I wonder why the idea to go 3-D, there seems to be no need.
The cast of “Scar” also includes Christopher Titus, Devon Graye, Brittany Wilson, Monika Mar-Lee, Carey Feehan, Al Sapienza, Ben Cotton and Tegan Moss.
