Dark Night of the Scarecrow is Finally Coming to DVD

YAY! Dark Night of the Scarecrow is finally coming to DVD! Writer J.D. Feigelson told HYB that VCI Entertainment will be releasing the DVD sometime around Halloween.

DNotS made our Top Ten Made for TV Horror Movies and has been called, “the creepiest made for TV horror flick ever made,” by our own Brain Hammer.

Scarecrow stars Charles Durning as Otis P. Hazelrigg who wrongly accuses and executes Bubba Ritter (Larry Drake aka Dr. Giggles), a mentally-challenged man, for raping a young girl. When Hazelrigg and his group of vigilantes escape murder charges, they start to dying one-by-one while being stalked by a mysterious scarecrow… Hazelrigg must figure out who is behind the scarecrow’s revenge before he is the next victim.

We will be the first to let you know as soon as more information is available.

It’s weird. First Image was going to release it, then Lionsgate, and now VCI.
