Jaws and The Island Producer David Brown Dies at 93

Hollywood producer David Brown has died at the age of 93. Brown produced 1973′s Sssssss, The Island, Deep Impact, Cocoon and the 1975 blockbuster Jaws.

The Oscar-nominated producer passed away Monday at his Manhattan home. He leaves behind his wife Helen Gurley Brown, editor of Cosmopolitan magazine. The cause was kidney failure after a long illness.
