While shooting his cameo for Slime City Massacre in August of 2009, Lloyd Kaufman told Horror Yearbook that he was planning on making (Watch Video) a fifth Toxic Avenger film.

Today the first picture from the film has hit the interwebs and it looks like The Toxic Avenger 5 will pick up after the fourth film, Citizen Toxie, with the introduction of “The Toxic Twins.”

You may remember that Toxie’s wife Sarah became pregnant with the twins by two separate fathers, Toxie and his doppelganger the Noxious Offender, in the The Toxic Avenger 4 (the best Toxie film after the original).

It has been a long time since we have seen Toxie and his sidekick Lardass, so hopefully Kaufman won’t take his sweet time releasing The Toxic Avenger 5 like he did with Poultrygeist.
