What is hotter then a bunch of bad, bad, bad women all locked away in a prison together? Nothing, that’s what! The women in prison movie is pure genius. The person who came up with this idea deserves to be knighted. Mass shower scenes, sweet lesbian love, brutal lesbian love and more lesbian love. What more could you ask for?

So grab your popcorn and your lube because Horror Yearbook is about to slam the gates shut on some of the best and worst (is that possible?) ‘Women in Prison’ movies ever made. Each week (I hope) we will lock ourselves up with the likes of Linda Blair, Mary Woronov, and Sybil Danning as they beat, rape, and kill each other for control of the clink.

First up was supposed to be the classic ‘Chained Heat,’ starring our favorite demon possessed adolescent Linda Blair, but I couldn’t get my hands on a copy. 2000 friggen’ movies in our Horror library and we don’t own ‘Chained Heat.’ Shame on us! Instead I decided to watch another Linda Blair film ‘Red Heat’ (no not the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger). What a mistake. So instead, I got my hands on a copy of ‘Chained Heat 2’ starring Brigitte Nielson. You think I’m going to miss any major plot points by watching part 2 before part 1?

Not only will I review each movie for you, but I will also count the titties, rapes, cafeteria fight scenes, and of course I will keep score of the always great and mandatory shower scenes. Together we will figure out who is the best warden, head bitch, and innocent prisoner of all time as I rediscover the long lost and very badly missed ‘Women in Prison’ film.
