The studio owns the rights, not him. He was just a hired hand. SMG just had her first kid and wants more. There ain't gonna be no SMG Buffy. We had our chance with a FAITH series, but Dushku wanted to do TRU CALLING instead. Frankly, the last two seasons were drawn out. Give up the dream and let it R.I.P. It's really a shame how so many of the show's characters' careers are dead. At least Alison Hannigan and David Boreanez are doing well.
