Just Make a Buffy Cartoon or Let it Die Already!

Joss Whedon should strike while the iron is hot. Sarah Michelle Gellar’s acting career is dead, and she has a baby to care for… Meaning she is going to need a paycheck soon! It has been proven that Eliza Dushku can’t carry her own series, and Nicholas Brendon is one killer pinata movie away from being a total joke. It is time to assemble the original cast, forget the major networks and find a cable channel willing to help get the Buffy the Vampire Slayer cartoon off the ground!

What is the friggen hold up? Season 8 motion-comic webisodes, and non-Whedon Buffy movies!?! All lame and stupid ideas that no true Buffy fan should ever support. All you have to do is ask X-Files fans about how awful movies based on the TV shows can be, and look at Whedon’s own Serenity to see that a new Buffy movie would probably flop. A lot of fans stopped reading the regular comic ages ago, and motion comics are friggen lame. So why are they wasting their time and money adapting Season 8 into one? To make a shitty idea shittier?

While I really wanted the Buffy cartoon to happen I have to be 100% honest… It will probably never be made and the fans of the show should probably just let the Buffyverse go before its legacy gets ruined. Buffy had 1 campy movie, seven great seasons, one spinoff, plenty of books, and a few comic runs. She deserves to die her third and final death and finally be allowed to rest in peace!

I loved the show SO FREAKIN MUCH when it was on, but it’s being ruined by all this crap!

It’s really a shame how so many of the show’s characters’ careers are dead. At least Alison Hannigan and David Boreanez are doing well.

Joss Whedon has no control over the franchise. The studio owns the rights, not him. He was just a hired hand. SMG just had her first kid and wants more. There ain’t gonna be no SMG Buffy. We had our chance with a FAITH series, but Dushku wanted to do TRU CALLING instead. Frankly, the last two seasons were drawn out. Give up the dream and let it R.I.P.

I really just wanted to say that SMG’s career is dead because it pisses off all her fans.
