Producer Jeremy Bolt has informed STYD that he plans on bringing Death Race 2 directly to DVD. The movie will begin filming next year and they’re currently searching for a new actor to fill the shoes of the legendary Frankenstein.

The script written by Tony Giglio will be a prequel to the 2008 remake. No director is attached at this time.
