After many rumors, director changes and misfires Dimension Films still won’t let the Hellraiser remake die. Now word comes that they plan to jump on the 3-D bandwagon with the franchise.

Variety reports that Pinhead is the newest horror icon making the 3-D plunge, and that Weinstein is also moving ahead on the previously announced Halloween 3-D, once director Patrick Lussier completes work on another project. They should just bite the bullet and make it Pinhead VS. Myers in 3-D… In space!

Honestly I have lost track of all the upcoming 3-D “reboots,” but it is getting to the point where the question is becoming; “What isn’t going to be 3-D in 2010?”
