Forget the Killer Icon Tournament…
Don’t forget that Killer Icon Tournament; I was just joking. However, do check out Terrordrome; a FREE PC game that pits your favorite horror icons against each other in a Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat style fighting Game. You can play the FREE demo here at http://www.terrordrome-thegame.com/.
So far, the updates have been stretched out with the last one being in July but, with a little hope, they the designers will pick it up again. The playable characters include Jason Voorhees, Chucky, Ash Williams, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Leatherface and Ghostface. They have some pretty neat and detailed moves. Check out the trailer for Terrordrome after the jump!

Has the Poltergeist Cursed Halted The Remake?
We’ve all heard of the Poltergeist curse, right? With the mysterious and ill-fated deaths of many of its cast members over the previous three films, there has been an omen casted over the film by some supernatural spirit…maybe an actual poltergeist??? Has “it” struck again with the production of the remake?
Scheduled for a November 2010 release, the remake has now been pushed back to a to be determined 2011 date. That is quite an extensive push back. No other word has been made so maybe the curse has struck again.

Real Dead Decoration
Have you ever walked, drove or ran (which would be my case) past a house and thought to yourself, “wow, that dead guy decoration really looks real!” Well, maybe it is…yeah.
The L.A. Times reported that a 75 year old man laid dead on his Marina del Rey balcony, decomposing for 5 days before being noticed. People thought it was a very realistic Halloween decoration. The man had died from a suspected self inflicted gun shot wound to his eye. I can just imagine the smell of decomposition…and nobody had thought twice when they past that spot.

House of the Devil DVD/Blu-ray Date
We’ve been posting on every bit and piece of Ti West’s House of the Devil news around here and we haven’t even seen the damn movie yet. We’ve all heard good things and the trailer looks fantastic – a straight up back to the past homage to the 70s with a simple story background. What is there not to love?
Amazon has it already posted up for pre-order and the date being told is February 2, 2010. It’ll come out on DVD and Blu-ray. Hopefully, we will get a chance here to see it on its limited theatrical release October 30th.
