Leatherface, Freddy and Jason may be the new Frankenstein, Dracula and Wolfman, but I thought we would at least have a few years before some idiot dug up the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise again. Are they really out of stuff to remake already?

According to Variety Stephen Susco, Carl Mazzocone, Mark Burg and Oren Koules are even less talented than Brad Fuller, and are in talks to to resurrect Leatherface in 3D!

Twisted Pictures, who also make the Saw films, hope to close a multiple picture deal with Chainsaw rights-holders Bob Kuhn and Kim Henkel. Meaning in a few years from now I could possibly be whining about Leatherface VS. Jigsaw 3D. Hopefully I’m either retired or in jail by then.
