Welcome! Since it is now October 1st, we thought we should do something special. We like October around here, hell, we damn near love it. Yes, even Wil loves it though he thinks it blows for news coverage. It is, in fact, the best month of the year!
I bring you to our first annual horror tournament with PRIZES. The subject of the tournament focuses on iconic killers of cinema. These mass murderers range anywhere from your average screw-loose psychos to your hideously mutated monsters. All you have to do is pick one out of the two who are pitted against each other for each of the 16 rivals and press vote. Then, register on our forums and enter yourself for the contest! It is that easy! (All the instructions are after the break) However, just don’t go based on by picture alone. Go by what you know of the two killers, what are their powers, what their intelligence is like…be creative in your choices! I mean, average people kill the supernatural villains all the time in the movies, am I right?
All matches are random. There is no rhyme or reason why an icon is against another. With that being said, I also want to see your comments about the choices you made. Why did you pick this killer over that one? Who do you think will be the upset selection of this round? Any champion outcome predictions?
When we get closer to Halloween (October 31st, duh!), the time duration of the tournament challenges will get shorter. But for Round One, you have until October 8th to make your selections and then the voting will be closed and shut down until Round Two. So, hurry up and vote! As Jigsaw would say, I want to play a game. The concept is much like college basketball’s March Madness; the person who gets the most predictions right wins the tournament. To enter, you must register for our forums and then make your predictions Here at the Horror Fight Thread. Make sure you read the rules before entering. Any unregistered contestants that enter will have their submissions discarded.
We have obtained prizes set for the tournament. They will be announced later as the tournament progresses. If in the event of a tie, we will have a staff tie breaker at random.
