More RE 4 Cast

Along with series femme fatale Milla Jovovich as Alice, Ali Larter as Claire Redfield and with Surrogates co-star Boris Kodjoe all on board, more cast have been announced today for the forthcoming film Resident Evil: Afterlife directed by Milla’s hubby and first film director Paul W.S. Anderson.

Wentworth Miller was also announced but his role was not. He will be Claire’s brother – the famous Chris Redfield from the video game series. New cast additions include Land of the Dead‘s Shawn Roberts and Sons of Anarchy’s Kim Coates. Shawn Roberts will replace Jason O’Mara as Albert Wesker. A returning Spencer Locke will reprise her role as K-Mart.

Avary Sentence Locks Up Silent Hill 2

Roger Avary, the penned writer behind the film adaptation to Silent Hill, was sentenced today to one year in jail. His sentencing comes after a fatal traffic accident in which one person, a passenger in Avary’s car, was fatally killed.

Heavy intoxication on the part of Avary was the reason for the telephone poll at a 100 MPH collision. The Silent Hill 2 script was in the process of being written before his sentencing but there is no word on whether this will hinder the film’s screenplay or it’s release.

All About Evil Poster!

Here is a neat little upcoming indie pic that you might want to keep your eye on – or in for if it decides to pop out. It is called All About Evil and it follows a quiet librarian who inherits her deceased father’s movie house.

She soon discovers her inner serial killer and gains a “legion of rabid gore fans.” When she starts to producer horror shorts, the audiences comes to realize that the dismal showings are far to real to be …unreal. Here is the poster for that movie slated for a 2010 release.
