The Predator Hunts Trejo!

Here is some of the first casting news from the upcoming the Robert Rodriguez’s remake (or prequel) of Predator. Danny Trejo has jumped aboard the commando train. While this is no surprise really for Trejo and Rodriquez are always in bed together it seems, it is an interesting casting bite.

There is no word of what Trejo’s role is but we can only hope it is a part that is major and significant. Predator is being directed by Nimrod Antal.

Corey Feldman Blog’s Lost Boys 3!

One half of the Frog Brothers, Corey Feldman, blogs about the next movie in the Lost Boys series entitled Lost Boys 3: The Thirst. Feldman also confirms that Jason Newlander, the other Frog brother, is returning – about time, right? Corey will have more say in what will be in the film as he is also the Executive Producer. Italian director Dario Piana will helm the film and he will give it a “modern look,” says Feldman.

Crazies Poster!

Great poster for the remake of George Romero’s The Crazies courtesy of Overture films. Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker and Joe Anderson make up the cast of Breck Eisner’s directed remake.

The Crazies is a reinvention loosely based upon the George Romero classic about the inhabitants of a small Iowa town beset by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply.

The film will take theaters February 26, 2010.

Blood Energy via Twilight

Here is another Twilight product exploit. In the same fashion as the TruBlood drink for the True Blood HBO series, Twilight releases a Blood Energy Potion – its actually a fruit punch flavored 4 hour energy drink. Energy drinks are pretty disgusting enough so now this just adds more disgustingness! It even comes in a little IV bag…how convenient.
